Leonardo, 11 Dec 2023I hope that the future generation of the F series will use ... moreso true but i bet they wont, 20:9 sucks watching videos and content appear smaller,i like aspect ratio from s22/23 ultra or mate 60 pro its very rare phone that has close to 80mm width easy to read manga, 20% larger when watching videos an contents9didnt like samsung btw)...now i might go for foldable xiaomi :/

I hope that the future generation of the F series will use the 19:9 aspect ratio because a lot of phones these days way too often use 20:9.

An avearge fast phone. nothing exceptional. charging speed i good though, and mine last literally from sunrise to Sunset, and i am on my phone most time. i also liked the fact that the 3.5mm jack was retained. Not much option these days

Phone blocks fps on 90 fps sometimes in 120 games , and nothing can change that sadly

Dimensity 8300 ULTRA on standar... moreF5 stocks in my county is running low, they are making the last sale and the price is about 200euro for 8+256, I was aiming for lower price for Poco X3 Pro, I was at 160-180euro, then it went completely out of stock. I'll probably get it if it hits me.

There are apps when detecting the SoC is not Snapdragon 8 series, it will lower down their performance, locking the high performance selection due to afraid the SoC outside Snapdragon 8 series will be lower in performance. Similar to most smartphone apps developer for all other smartphones, they will prioritize optimizing for flagship processor, then slowly going down to optimize their apps for lower performance (if they have time), which is actually more difficult than optimizing for high performance SoC. This is very obvious in Android mobile gaming especially those very high demanding games. We as user can only makes complain at the Play Store comment section or directly email or contact developer in hope that they will unlock high performance feature or optimize their game for our smartphone with such kind of hardware, as those games are monetize, they might just ignore those minority smartphone, just focus on serving only flagship smartphone, such as flagship Samsung, Apple iPhone, flagship Snapdragon 8 series SoC, etc. (That's why Mediatek Dimensity 9000 series and 8000 series are being complained as much less optimized than the Snapdragon counterpart for some games)

BurnedByPoco, 26 Nov 2023Guys the phone heats up 🔥🔥 during normal usage! No gaming j... morei barely notice that it heats up, mostly after charging. but with gaming it's not too hot. but warm yet bearable. unlike my 5 year old poco f1, it is very hot when gaming.

Akame, 01 Dec 2023Personally im using this phone since July 2023, its a great... morejust update your discord i always stream my gacha game through discord and my friend always watched it..it run 60fps on video streaming and 120fps on menu or scrool..and if i watched my friend stream its always have 60fps except your server didnt have nitro boost

@Spanky I agree definitely. Dimensity 8300 ULTRA on standard F6 would be great compare to F5. Price to performance ratio. But unfortunately it will be on PRO. 100euro more then standard minimum. + Glass back(I think), no jack.(I know but I still use it even though I have Bose for like 300euro BT) Not much actually if you compare PTP. When F6 pro is out F5 will be under 300euro. And there are ofc other phones. Best phone of all time was Poco X3 Pro. Got it for 179euro. Can't beat this good beer.

Poco F5 5g don't have any video recording of 1080p@120fps as given in the description of the "1080p@30/60/120fps", the phone is good, the camera is okayish but not bad

But overall, it is still a Snapdragon processor, optimization won't be an issue, but you need to wait, because Discord is a free apps, quite normal free apps won'5 promising any updates unless plenty of their user from POCO F5 complain to them
