Ezra 1326, 26 Jan 2024I need help cuz I'm having a hard time whether I shoul... moreThere is also Poco X6 Pro as an option that also have Dimensity but at least it is D8300U that performas better then F5 while is cheaper. Get more storage options and 3 OS updates while come out on Android 14. F5 come with Android 13 and should get only 2 OS updates.
13T is more expensive with better cameras then both of them and also have longer software support.
The over heating is probably coming from people who stress test the phone and wont happen for normal phone users.
Gaming long term would heat all the phones as never mind what it is snapdragon or dimensity or what ever other chip. Also when the phone will be on hyperOS then bootload unlock be a lot more difficult even for snapdragon chip to get custom android on the phone if that is a priority. Never mind that installing a new OS on a phone is dying trend as there are not a lot of phones left that have bootload unlockable

I bought after hearing this phone is good for gaming. But, after a month gaming performance reduced. Touch sensitivity is not working properly while playing. Doesn't give 90fps. Game booster is waste. Even a oppo phone give you a good gaming assistant feature but not this so called gaming phone. If you record while playing, the game sound delays for a second even if you use headphones so you can't hear enemy footsteps clearly.
Only good this is battery for gaming
DO NOT BUY IT by seeing good reviews like i did. Totally not worth for your money.

I need help cuz I'm having a hard time whether I should buy xiaomi 13t or poco f5. I want xiaomi for the camera but I've seen a lot of complain that the battery drains quickly and I don't want dimensity chipset. For poco f5, I really prefer the snapdragon chipset as it doesn't drain your battery that quick but the camera quality is a bit ugly for my liking. Help I'm really on edge rn.

Has anyone updated to HyperOS? Are there any major problems especially for gaming? Someone said it lags after the update but I'm not sure when they gonna fix it. I hope anyone will give the latest update when it gets fixed.

Let's start by saying that I have been a Xiaomi fan for the past 6 years, I started with the Redmi 4a then the Mi A3 which lasted about 2 years and 3 and half years before they gave me trouble, so I bought the Poco F5 expecting it to be a worthy device, But only 2 months in and the unexpected happens, I was on a 7 hour long car trip when the phone suddenly went into a boot loop,it kept restarting every 10 seconds from the MIUI logo, of course android auto was useless by then which was hell while traveling,so, I tried every trick there is to fix it but nothing worked, I had to wipe out all of my data so I can use it again, which was very inconvenient, I am very disappointed with this device and I can't wait to replace it with another one.

Now that the update is in masses they get more feedback what to patch up.
This is why it's best to wait with updating and wait to see will there be some issues as they changed the OS skin to new version.
Software gets more complicated so there be expected human errors

I had the F5 since December and I no problems with it. Once I updated to the new HyperOS they were talking about, I noticed that the touch was not responsive when 3 or more fingers touch it at a fast rate. It wasn't like that before updating. Now I want to downgrade to MIUI because it has better UI and not having problems with touch sampling.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2024Hi, Xiaomi Poco F5 or Xiaomi 11T Pro? both same priceIf you want a better camera then 11T Pro. But when you want to have like more software updates then F5. 11t Pro was released September 2021 so it's over 2 years old phone already.
Also X6 Pro got just released and it's better then F5 and also for the same price. X6 Pro 12GB ram and 512GB storage is at same price as F5 12/256GB and that X6 Pro will have 3 OS updates while come out with Android 14 so it ends with Android 17 while F5 come with 13 and ends with 15.
