ok so did some digging turns out it can handle some heavy gaming sessions even on high resolution. my favorite part is ad735 just got a turnip driver means you can emulate switch,pc games more seamlessly. you better get the 12gb ram ver and it's great.
now hopefully no random bootlooping poco series is known for that... other than that this model is a gem

any heavy user here? I need this for gaming but after the incident with x3 pro I am a bit afraid.
any motherboard issue so far I have not seen any

I was considering the Redmi note 13 pro plus, (or 14 pro plus), because of its superior cameras. I'm not a gamer. I'm someone who does a lot of studying (a student) and I find this as a really good deal. However, as you have said, the battery is a concern.
And I need every single percent I can get. ☺️
Anyways, I'm hoping some good phones come out this year. Thanks again! You're amazing, Jimmy!

It depends on how you use your phone... If you're a "normal" user, you'll get almost a day of battery life with F6.

Check the Poco F5, it's cheaper now. I also own it. A very powerful phone. I personally would go for the F6 if I'm going to buy a new phone, though...

I really wonder if Xiaomi puts 5000mAh batteries into their phones as stated? Because, the low battery life from their 5000mAh phones scare me.
Is it the same with you? I'm on my Poco M5 right now. This phone has amazing battery.
              Thanks!

However, if you're an "average" user, you'll get more than 22 hours. The reason I charge my phone more than once a day, is because I use my phone as a router to multiple units simultaneously on a 5G network.

The major flaw of this phone is the rather unusually low battery.

In the EU we automatically get 2 years of consumer protection, and I have a feeling that the units sold within the EU have usually better quality, but then we have to pay more to acquire these batches unfortunately.

I heard people can buy these phones cheaply in Asian countries, but I strongly doubt if the phones sold there are original...

My main concern is the top speaker, i can live with the rest bugs. My reason for seeking help here is to see if there is any setting or tweak that I'm not aware of before sending it for repair. Tried cleaning and few speaker repair apps but still no help.. Thanks everyone! ☺️

Kivv, 01 Sep 2024I only had the phone for 1 month, 1. Top speaker not work... moreAfter almost half a year, I haven't encountered any of the issues you mentioned in your post, at least not yet. F6 is the best phone I've ever owned. My problem is maybe the battery life, since I'm an EXTREME user. I'm almost sure I would face the same issue if I used another brand. My second problem is the absence of FM radio, which I badly need everytime I travel outside of EU.

And by the way, I clean my phones daily, just like brushing my teeth.

Kivv, 01 Sep 2024I only had the phone for 1 month, 1. Top speaker not work... moreHyperOS has alot of stupid bugs. In my own experience, deleted pictures would appear in the gallery. Lol.
But as for the battery, it's the 8S gen 3's fault. It's good in CPU, but the GPU uses alot of power. And with that 1220×2712 resolution, and 120Hz, a 1100MHz GPU will generate alot of heat.
That's why I'd advise going for the X6 Pro, if battery is your major need.
Poco phones are Redmi rebrands, so... Yeah.

Kivv, 01 Sep 2024Do you think a month old phone needs cleaning? Yes. I clean my phone every 2-3 days. It's not my fault - pocket lint, greasy, slimey fingers, etcetera... You get it, right?

                                  1. Top speaker not working. Soft volume came from top calling speaker.
                                  2. During sleep time screen will suddenly lit up every 5 sec interval. Happened abt 4x
                                  3. While watch YouTube, music app will suddenly play. Happened 3x
                                  4. Nfc didn't work 2x during payment.
                                  5. Screen off time can't control media volume. Happened on and off.
6 Bluetooth media volume lower by itself. Happened on ang off.
                                  7. Battery draining issue.
My 3yrs A52s battery last even longer than this 1 month old phone.
Are all the above acceptable for a USD$400 phone?

                                      Here's what you do:
                                      a. You can suck it with your mouth (Be careful while doing this!)
                                      b. You can use a toothbrush (TGTTEL 🗿) and clean the area (Top and Earpiece).
                                      c. There are audio files that help remove water from the speaker holes. Download it, and play it on loudest volume.
By the way, are you sure that you're not overreacting?

I will advise everybody to stay away from Poco F6. Tons of bugs, today this won't work, tmr that got issues. Sometimes it will recover by itself, sometimes it won't. My set now top/ left speaker volume became very low/ soft. Volume bal adjusted. Media apps uninstall reinstall still the same. Anybody got a fix for that?
