Jack, 31 May 2024Camera is pathetic as compared to the price You are correct on that one. The F6, even tho looks good, does not have an actual optical zoom lens. Xia dropped the 2mp macro lens, but their awful 8mp WA lens remains, yet they want $400- for it. If you have that kind of money for a handset, Pickup the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, which has a 3X optical zoom lens. I did just that last month, after selling my Poco F4.

I have the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, it has been okay, some things I don't like but nothing major. Before I was about to get a Samsung A34, I think Samsung is very reliable as long as they use some TSMC made processor. Battery life on it is amazing according to reviews.
At the end I decided on the Redmi because I'm too attached to the brand at this point. But honestly I'm kinda fed up of their bloated and power hungry software, which is getting worse with each new version starting from MIUI 12.

Initially I wanted a Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G as my secondary phone (in case of an emergency or if my main phone gets nicked during holidays or in the streets) but now i'm thinking of just getting a Pixel 6a/7a or a Galaxy A34/35 5G. Good choices?

I can't pay 400 euro for a new phone with such bad battery life, software and camera. I travel and my job is forcing me to have my phone 8+ hours mobile data ON, google maps ON , Location ON all the time and i am outside meaning i cant charge phone easily, only powerbanks which are slower and car light charging.
Should have made this phone last full day on battery. Like Samsung A55 which is alluminium body as well + better rain protection. Curently my A52 is IP67 and it gets wet and cant charge wet usb port error...

I've managed to find a german review about the F6, and the guy said the following (google translated from german):
"In addition, the Poco F6 with Bluetooth 5.4 has a newer BT version than the Pro version, which only supports Bluetooth 5.3. Xiaomi specifies AAC, AptX, AptX HD, AptX Adaptive, LDAC and LHDC as codecs on the Chinese website. In the test we were able to successfully verify AptX, LDAC and LHDC."
