Anonymous, 13 Nov 2024Unrealistic to you, when several stats from surveys and res... moreI mentioned in my other messages to people helping me that the 13T has really good photos. But taking videos these i noticed:
4K 30 HDR on - there is shutter button
4K 60 HDR on - not possible
1080p 30 HDR on - there is shutter button
1080p 60 HDR on - not possible
1080p 60 HDR turned off - no camera shutter button
1080p 30 HDR Turned off - no camera button
In particular 4K 60 and 1080p 60 HDR are both not possible. I know they might take up more space than 30fps but it would be nice to have them.
So, Are these limitations of the chipset? or a bug?

Gino76ph, 12 Nov 2024Sticking to a phone for 4-5 years might sounds unrealistic ... morePerhaps yes.
But that would depend on how the current phone continues to work.
It's not that I change phone every year though, well... it really depends on the phone.
For example, if I get a flagship phone, then the spec should be sufficient for a couple of years at least, then the battery wears out (let's see if I can find replacement battery then).
Meanwhile, if I get a second hand phone, it won't likely last for too long (probably max 2 yrs).

Gino76ph, 12 Nov 2024Sticking to a phone for 4-5 years might sounds unrealistic ... moreUnrealistic to you, when several stats from surveys and research suggest that most people change their phones every 3 years on average. Not everyone has the money or bothers to change their phone every couple months like you do. There's just no advantage in changing phones so often.
And yes, personally I'd go for the Nord 4 over the 13T because of the better build quality, performance, battery life, and charging speed. I don't care about camera quality whatsoever.
As for you, just stick with your 13T for the time being. No point in getting the 14T since it's not much of an upgrade, and no point getting the Nord 4 because of the inferior cameras.

yes. As there are phones being released almost every month and there are deals and discounts every few months.

This phone in the variant 512/12 for me had a very annoying BUG in the game LOL: Wild Rift. It started as a "Lag Spikes" issue where the PING of the game started to go up and down constantly in a stable WiFi red for no apparent reason, even alongside his little brother the F5 both phones running the game at the same network and time this new F6 model retained those lag spiked over and over, tried to fix it with various ways and with the help of the game Support team without success, so we end blaming the new Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 that this model mounts and his lack of compatibility, some friend of mine with another F6 said to me that the exact same problem happened to him but with CoD Mobile game, Ping Spikes for no reason trough all the game. So BEWARE for those who plays this games and want to buy this phone.
Also another curious bug: many third apps that showcase Temperatures from the thermal sensors of the phone always were saying the CPU was over 70C° or more even when the phone wasn't that hot by just touching it lol...So I guess it's another BUG from the new SoC SP 8S Gen 3.

This is the most valuable smartphone of it's pricing. Those still complain, you either pay more for something like Realme GT6T/GT6 or Honor 200 Pro, but the pricing at my country is almost double up when launched. Yes, at this moment, definitely can get discounted price for Honor 200 Pro and Realme GT6, but still not up to POCO F6 pricing. There is also Xiaomi 14T come into mind. There is of course preference come into mind, but really, there is nothing wrong with POCO F series of smartphone.

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2024hows the camera in this phone?Worse than redmi, 2x zoom lens is basically identical
Color grading on the redmi is nicer looking
Redmi has dramatically better zoom capabilities
I advise you get the redmi note 13 pro (or look at upcoming 14 pro/+) if you want camera quality

To note about poco F6 compared to Redmi note pro/+
Negatives:
-Microphone much worse than redmi 9 pro I previously had, might apply to current models too, can be very problematic with in-app calls.
-Zoom is dramatically worse, as well as color grading and general picture quality
-Model is older, keep this in mind due to update support
-Not as many aftermarket options (cases and such, protectors being the obvious exception)
And as a rarely considered positive, the phone is VERY light. Can be of help with impacts (less inertia on impact) and generally makes using the phone easier.
I got the phone recently and am so far very fond of it. It's been a vastly better experience asides from these things to not.
I got it over the (here) evenly priced poco x6 pro and redmi note 9 pro because of the
futureproofing the chip offers, as well as the speaker quality which beat out a qualcomm s22 ultra and whose only downside is the lack of bass thump over speakers/headphones
(I'd advise you to wait for the battery upgrade newer phones might soon be getting if possible. Your battery life and by-proxy health with thank you.)
Redmis are better in all ways but the chip, so look for the compromises and decide for yourself
This is about all that needs to be said about the phone if you need to consider it
Get a poco if you want specs and a redmi if you want the rest of it.
Both have battery preservation options, the charging speed doesn't matter since both are well over fast enough.
Here they were evenly priced and almost evenly matched. The poco couldn't be tried out at a store so here you go if you were considering it. Happy upgrades

Anonymous, 05 Nov 2024The Mi 6 wasn't even out until 2017...I know.
I didn't say I was using S6 and MI6 in 2015.
And both of the devices were available in similar price here few years later.
The point is Sammy's higher end costs more (more risky in case something doesn't work well) than Xiaomi.
