      Pavel, 03 Jun 2024Is this support he160 wifi channel??Cannot confirm as the last POCO F5 Pro also only support 80Mhz channel WiFi 6, but the reception however is better than a lot of 80Mhz, easily reaching 800Mbps even at thick-walled area. My thinking is it is more than fast enough for many usage including Netflix 4K streaming and Youtube 4K streaming. Yes, I know, unless you want max WiFi speedtest, then go find other smartphone that goes beyond such as having WiFi 6E and WiFi 7.

        I'd rather tinker with the settings and contact the company to push some updates and changes to the UX and UX. But if the company does not listen and doesn't push updates fast and in a timely manner then that's another issue right there.

          poco f6 noise cancellation isn't working:
          I am notification lot of background noise during whatsapp call. It appears that poco f6 does not have good noise cancellation software or its not working. Is anyone else noticing lot of background noise during whatsapp or other calls ?

Technically you can do that with any brand. But straight from them you shouldn't need to do that to get an optimized OS. And that's what I mean, straight from Xiaomi you get a bloated and power hungry mess, far less optimized than the software of the majority of its competitors. Back with MIUI 6 to 11 they were great, now not so much.

                      Hi, just purchased the phone and been fiddling with it for the past 24 hours. So far so good. I can't seem to find how to set a data monthly limit while using cellular data. Do you know where it might have been? It used to be on Android 12 and 13, not in this one. Puzzled. Thanks

                        ashrobb, 31 May 2024I think they're all good choices. I have the Redmi Not... moreI heard that you can uninstall most 1st-party apps. And you can remove or stop it from showing ads with a simple tap on the settings of those 1st-party apps.
                        I think Samsung is no different with Xiaomi...both have propitiatory 1st-party apps, both have their own Theme store and app stores, etc.
                        And I think Xiaomi/ Redmi/Poco quality is getting better especially this year. But i just think Samsung's quality is still on a different level. And the updates are much faster. That is what separates the two.

Not a deal-breaker though.

Xia dropped the 2mp macro lens, but their awful 8mp WA lens remains, yet they want $400- for it. If you have that kind of money for a handset, Pickup the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, which has a 3X optical zoom lens. I did just that last month, after selling my Poco F4.

I have the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, it has been okay, some things I don't like but nothing major. Before I was about to get a Samsung A34, I think Samsung is very reliable as long as they use some TSMC made processor. Battery life on it is amazing according to reviews.
                                      At the end I decided on the Redmi because I'm too attached to the brand at this point. But honestly I'm kinda fed up of their bloated and power hungry software, which is getting worse with each new version starting from MIUI 12.

                                        Initially I wanted a Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G as my secondary phone (in case of an emergency or if my main phone gets nicked during holidays or in the streets) but now i'm thinking of just getting a Pixel 6a/7a or a Galaxy A34/35 5G. Good choices?
