Having been disappointed with a Pixel 8 (small screen, so-so speakers, washed out display, so-so performance) i bought an iPhone 16 Pro. I sold it as i miss Android.
My question: Is a Poco F7 Pro good upgrade* over the Pixel 8?
or wait for the Pixel 9a?
Or get an F7 Ultra instead?
* my priorities are specs that are more better (albeit slightly) than the Pixel 8 on cameras, performance, battery life, speakers & audio, etc. I do not like big/tall/wide phones.

should i get this or xioami 15? (xiaomi 15 is about 80 dollars more expensive than f7 ultra in my country)

Bufon, 04 Apr 2025I never use poco again because my poco x7 pro if playing he... moreI saw it reaching 45 C on a review while playing a heavy game (I think his room temp was below 20 C).
In the review, he noted that while it gets warm it's still manageable.
Meanwhile, when he played the same game on Xiaomi 14T (if I remember correctly), the temp stayed around 38 C.
Therefore, even though the latest chip has better heat management, it can get hotter than some of the lower clocked chip, apparently.
Hold on a sec, if it gets as warm as 45 C with room temp below 20 C, how hot would it get when room temp is around 30 C??? I wonder...

D8400 is a beast in midrange at that price. also, the power consumption of D8400 are around 8-10w. what do you think gonna happen when you maxed out setting with D9400 or 8 Elite when they can go beyond 15w?? I have K70 Ultra (D9300+) and its not fun let me tell you. especially playing on in the afternoon. so dont go around playing maxed out setting when you have a midrange phone and can barely hold 10w phone. temper you expectation.

It looks like a budget phone with that colour and camera placement to be honest. even though the screen has little bezels and a hole punch it seriously looks like it’s got a helio in there

Even something like Fiio KA11 sounds better than any of them despite the fact that it's not the best DAC at all it beats all of them together so stop living in a bubble and accept reality.
