Because China and international versions usually are way different starting with network bands, software and so on. So it's basically a different phone, to avoid issues with unint*lligent buyers they are choosing safest way possible and separating almost two different devices by name.
"Requesting Xiaomi,Redmi,POCO to avoid bloatware in Hyper OS what a mess if it's closer to stock it would be fine. Why should a person who buys your premium product needs bloatware."
Request denied because ads are treasure to companies because of money. + POCO is not a premium device neither flagship. Xiaomi 15 ultra is their premium flahship.

When I try to check about battery life by referring to size of battery, display size / type, & do the calculation, it's supposed to reach 16 hours rather than 13.3 hours.
But at least, looks to be slightly better than 1+13 (only 15 hours while it should reach like 20 hours).
So something is not so energy efficient when compared with better one.
Both of the devices will do fine for most cases, but also not great.

Requesting Xiaomi,Redmi,POCO to avoid bloatware in Hyper OS what a mess if it's closer to stock it would be fine. Why should a person who buys your premium product needs bloatware.

It's not recommended to normal people, neither is it for this new model yet though I'm using a custom rom, which does extend update (as long as I pick the right phone with right custom rom).

I LOVE this phone, I have money for it and this will be an awesome upgrade from my old Mi 9T, but sadly there is no way to buy it with cash(locally, only way I can) in Germany, and I don't really know if there'll be bcs Poco phones have never been in local stores.

oh im dead planning to upgrade PocoF6 pro due to the lack of 1Tb options i do need really a lot of storage but im am financially not that capable.... is PocoF6 pro 8gen2 still relevant? thought im going to lost the new AI capability of 8gen3 but i cant really stand the 512gb cause im a big emulator guy

Anonymous, 31 Mar 2025If you purchase what you truly like, then you will tend to ... moreBut my bad, i enabled allow automatically updating, but still it doesnt prevent trend which allows phones to be used only for 2-3 years since they found out way to make profit by limiting life span. This wasnt trend before. And they are making more os upgrades and they are intentionally slowing down device by these patches. Iphone started to slow down phone to maximize battery life. That was beginning.

Before on dumb phones, you had apps and no updates and system worked like on first day. Now, they are overupdating apps and adding useless features or whatever they are putting in them making them harder. I dont understand, updates are being sent almost every day.

It looks to have better performance than oneplus 13 at software / performance part of the review.
Battery life is worse than oneplus due to smaller battery capacity (?) but it's weird because in the test battery apparently drained less than oneplus 13.
