I think out of all the "budget" mid-range phones that Xiaomi has released, this is the most budget of them all. I only remember mid-range phones being this cheap 5 years ago.
This is exactly what mid-range phones should be: cheap without huge compromises on specs (SD662 is still a decent mid-range chip, not at all low-end). The $150-200 price-range is the sweet spot for budget mid-range phones.
I'd buy this phone, but for some stupid reason Aliexpress doesn't ship this phone to Canada anymore. And some listings I have to pay $200+ for shipping, which is even more expensive than this phone.

The performance is about same.
Display quality is also about same, or maybe, RN7 has higher brightness.
Features are all same, except for maybe 2nd small speaker on top of phone in Poco M3 to create stereo sound effect.
Battery is better in Poco M3, and that's it.
