lyon, 03 Mar 2024my friend have this phone, he said that its not a xiaomiXiaomi/Redmi/Poco are the same. All run MIUI/HyperOS. Poco M4 Pro, Redmi Note 11S, and Redmi Note 12S are the same phone with the exception of the camera

I hope they add more features on this phone because its 241 dollars when I bought it (currency exchange to usd) and its not a little worth it because I can buy the new poco m6 pro for 220 dollars and so much better than this but the poco m4 pro is okay still good in gaming but not heavy games

Since the update to MIUI 14, i have been discovering lot of bugs such as when you close some apps like instagram or tiktok, the sound still running in the background until you remove the apps from background. And the battery also get lower quickly, i think it is because the chipset G96 (12 nm) higher power consumption than the other chipsets like 695 or 680 / 685

I've already tried reporting it to the devs, was even in the Telegram group for reporting MIUI bugs. Even with all the video recordings I have and explanation as to when the bugs occur, all the devs response was "we couldn't reproduce the problem." It's also laggy when recording videos with Messenger, Tiktok, & Instagram. Some even reported it lags when watching reels.
Avoid Poco at all costs. If you have to buy Poco then always go for the F series. The X & M series might seem great because of the cheap price, but you'll regret it in the end when the hardware & software issues will occur.

I have this phone and I think its expensive for a helio g96 processor but its still kinda good for games and doesnt overheat much unless its a heavy game and you play for a long time, the audio is okay but its bad when you get on a noisy crowd or environment because you cant kinda hear what you're watching or talking too and also if the person you talk to talks soft or not loud, you cant kinda hear it even high volume but its good ill rate it 7/10
