joe nodden, 23 Jan 2024So the website you're on right now has made that typo ... moreWell, if you go search for Infinix Zero X Pro, you will see that video recording 4k@30/60fps, which is clearly an error, since G95 can't do 4k@60fps and it was supposed to be 1080p@60fps. Mistakes happens.
I not only have the phone, but also was the person who spend some time to put together all updated specs and send a tip asking for GSMArena admins to update the info.
Back to topic, another phone with the same chipset, Tecno Spark 20 Pro+, is already out and some tech people reviewed it. Video recording, again, limited to 2k.
In the end, not a single word from Mediatek about these "new" and "mysterious"G99 Ultra/Ultimate. We'll never know for sure unless they make it official.

joe nodden, 23 Jan 2024So the website you're on right now has made that typo ... moreYour source is not reliable: Kimovil indicates that the Sony IMX355 photo sensor has a size of 1/2.8" when it is 1/4". J You have to trust the manufacturer's data. GSMArena also makes errors (fairly rare)

joe nodden, 23 Jan 2024So why are there G99 phones allegedly capable of 4K. If you saw any tech website stating that G99 is capable of 4k videos, it's probably a typo. Mediatek website makes clear that the chipset maxes at 2k only.
With the exception of Tecno and Infinix, most brands cap its video capacity at 1080p for unknown reasons. Some even go beyond and limit the fps to 30 only, even if it canrecord at 1080p@60fps.

I actually use battery saver most of the tim on the X3 Pro because 120Hz use a lot of battery and back gets warm when I'm just on tiktok or another app that doesn't drop to 60Hz-the CPU performance is still decent on battery saver mode. I'm not gaming much on mobile and went back to gaming on the PC. If the X6 Pro gets a bit cheaper, I would choose it over this M6 Pro

utouh, 14 Jan 2024again and again, G99 is old chipset, it's so horrible,The best budget chip. Dimensity 6080 is good and 5g but not as stable as g99. Other chip the same price is trash.

1) You say 2K which I presume you think means 1440p despite these "K" measurements referring to the horizontal pixels of a resolution. Meaning 2K is 1920x1080 not 2560x1440. And the spec sheet doesn't say anything about 1440p, so why.
2) If you do think it means 1080p, the spec sheet says it supports 1080p60.
3) Use full sentences.
