Dennis.K, 14 Feb 202088.8% screen to body???Yes, the area of the front face is = 6.51 x 3.02 = 19.66 square inches, the area of the screen is = 112.5 square centimeters (from specs) or 17.437 square inches, (100 x 17.437) / 19.66 = 88.7%, so I get a very very similar number.

    88.8% screen to body???

Highex, 14 Feb 2020no, ppi makes somewhat difference rn8p has low ppi i c... morePoco X2 will have less pixel density than redmi note 8 pro, if you think note 8 pro has low resolution poco x2 will be worse at that.

Midrange phones all have this same FHD+ resolution and to have better PPI you need to choose a smaller screen.

If you want incredible display PPI at that phone size you will need a phone with a 2K, 2K+ screen resolution, only some flagships offer that.

rn8p has low ppi i can see the difference

but anyways , as you said display quality matters , i think poco x2 has better display

btw are you using poco x2

Viable alternatives are realme X2 and Mi 9T.

Highex, 12 Feb 2020why it has such a low ppi (387) ? redmi note 4 has 402 ppi Redmi Note had 5.5" and 16:9 ratio, and this phone (see the spec).. With similar resolution (Full HD - Full HD Plus).

But like many says, about 400ppi is ok.

Then again, at least for me, the phone is ugly, thick, have 2 holes in the screen, design is mix from Oneplus (back) to last year S 10 Plus series (because of two holes) on the front, just with worse screen. If someone wants Xiaomi, in this price range, maybe it's better option Mi9T (K20), or.. Mi9 Lite.. Or, even Mi9, last year flagship have similar price (now). Xiaomi shame on you, why you keep making only thick phones, from Redmi 8, Note 8, Note 8 Pro, to this Pocophone X2, even Mi10/Pro is fat phone woth over 200g in weight

Man I'm so disappointed after X2 launch. There is nothing good on this phone. The design is very awkward and looks weird. The processor is a mid range. That notch is unbearable because it is not uniform.

Qualcomm maybe low antutu score but powerful Adreno GPU compared to Mali Shit GPU. Mali GPUs cannot last long while playing heavy graphic console like games and its really while playing dolphin emulator and about 30 mins it starts lagging. I AGREE that 1000 dimensity can beat Qualcomm's CPU but not the GPU. Whereas Mediatek is just good in CPU but GPU? sucks... xP

Highex, 12 Feb 2020why it has such a low ppi (387) ? redmi note 4 has 402 ppi Around 400 PPI is fine for any midrange phones. The fact that is LCD is not too good news though more so if you use the phone in low ambient light.

Has anybody actually used PocoX2? is there any battery problems or general problems with it?

why it has such a low ppi (387) ?
