Facing a lot of issues with the device as some features have stopped working. I can no longer use mi video toolbox and this makes me sad.

On the other hand, updates does increase OS complexity especially major upgrades and it will always lessen battery runtime and can be observed on other phones with Android, iOS and mobile devices having Windows. If you wan't to have better runtime then you need a stripped-down custom ROM or just never update at all.

This is a problem with android 10 devices .
Do one thing.
Go to settings
Apps
Search for whatsapp
Call notifications
Silent notifications
Change the settings as per your need ..
It will at least notify an incoming call by vibrating your phone once, as if you received a text message ...
Cheers

Keep in mind... moreBingo!!
I am facing one big issue and i am surprised to see no one has mentioned it .
May be its just me . The auto brightness sensor in this mobile is very aggressive and it sometimes drives me crazy while using the mobile.
I had to keep it on manual otherwise i used to face the front of the mobile towards sun or the led bulb to ensure an increase in brightness.

I understand those comments here are all about.
You can only appreciate Xiaomi smartphone if you value saving over the premium.
If someone has the big budget, you won't pick Xiaomi smartphone for it's cut corners, even it is sold at much cheaper price compared with competing models from other brand.
So, pick Poco, Redmi, and Realme brand for max saving if you don't care about premium.
I won't recommend getting any of the OPPO and Vivo as with similar price, I can get budget flagship smartphone from Poco, Redmi, Realme and Xiaomi brand.

I've been using the Poco x3 NFC for 2 days now. The phone is sipping battery and heating up constantly. Losing battery. Im getting a screen on time of 5 hours. For perspective, my Realme 6 had a 4500 mAH battery and gave me 7 hours SOT without an issue, this should technically give me more.
In my battery usage stats, Android System is taking the second most battery after screen.
I've tried factory resetting the phone from the recovery. No resolve.
Is anyone else facing this and found a solution?

Zephyr, 09 Oct 2020I ain't running after oppo and vivo . There devices ar... moreYes I still have the LG V50 and marvels at the design, the flushed camera module, the weight, the pretty OLED display, the cameras, the very nice 4K 60FPS video with stabilised, 5-6 hour of SOT from a Snapdragon 855, the military grade water proofing, and the creme de la creme, the quad dac audio. Stereo speaker, not so much. This Poco X3 humiliates it in that department. Everything is so smooth with LG V50, even without high refresh rate. Unlike my old S10+. Ultimately its the speakers and the IR blaster that keeps me coming back to Poco X3.
I can give you links to a $190 Poco X3. Its another of their flash sales though so it wont last for more than a day or something. Hope this sneaks past this sites web cencorship
