Anonymous, 21 Mar 2021Poco x3 nfc or redmi note 10? which is better and explain w... moreThey are almost similar.
Poco X3 is 64 mega pixels but with lens of Sony while Redmi 10 is 108 megapixels but with lens of Samsung. In my opinion, the Sony's lens in poco x3 are better compared to the other. Megapixels is not always everything. I have a digital cam whose megapixels are far low compared to both phones but beats both with absolutely no comparison because of how good the lens are and other internal workings of it.
Note 10 pro has AMOLED display. Many people like that kind of display because it gives better contrast and fake colours. But when it comes to durability and real harmonious colours, LCD is a better choice.
Note 10 pro feels light compared to X3.
Battery of X3 is better than Note 10.
X3 is cheap compared with Note 10 pro.
So these are some of the major differences between the two.

For people having issues with wired headphones, make sure you are properly inserting the wire in the hole to its fullest. In new phones, due to hard friction, one have to push a little bit hard initially.
I am using this phone for over a month now. There are pros and cons of it but cons are very little compared to what this phone offers...
Pros:
-- > Overall a good phone that gives good overall features in everything.
--> Refresh rate is great. It feels smooth.
--> Hardware seems to be good.
--> Good battery.
Cons:
--> the wired headphone hole is at the bottom. If you are lying on bed and placing the phone on your stomach, you can't do that because of the location of the hole at the bottom. But glad there is still the hole as many models are straightaway discarding it.
--> the weight of the phone feels heavy. It's not lightweight and would tire you.
--> Second SIM card holder is shared with sd card.
--> the back camera is in the middle which interferes with you fingers when you are holding the phone.
--> the theme app is not available in all regions. You have to manually switch to some other region to unhide that app.
--> Xiaomi official apps contain too much ads. Many of the apps are unwanted bloatware
---> There is no way to undo if you accidentally make your sd card as your default installation medium. You have to reset phone to factory settings to get back the internal rom storage.
Summary: It's overall a good phone when you look at specs at that range. But inferior software quality from Xiaomi and Google's Android new tactics makes it less good than what it should be.

arsalankk, 01 Apr 2021Yea my wired earphones aren't good but they worked rea... moreThat probably explains it. LG G6 was a flagship, with probably flagship grade amplifier & equalizer. Laptops have more advanced sound systems as well.
My earphones aren't good, either. But its earphone volume is louder than my previous Realme & not so different in loudness than iPhone X with same earphones.
I don't think I can find a phone that's much louder than it in its range. At best, there might be slight differences.

frank316, 03 Apr 2021I have been using Poco X3 NFC for 2 months.
Major issues w... moreThat's very strange! I haven't reset it once and it's working flawlessly, without any bugs or slowdowns for the 2 months I've owned it. I've 6, 128GB variant.
1. I can easily set any Ringtone by going to Settings - Sound & vibration - Ringtone - Poco - Choose local ringtone.
It shows every music file on my phone, including .flac ones.
2. UI is super fast & smooth. I've 120 Apps & only 11GB Free Storage (lol). I'm a very heavy user who pushes limits of his phone.
It doesn't stutter in any app & I can read text while scrolling. Which has been very helpful for me since I read a lot. I always use it at 120Hz.
Note: If you've turned on "Disable HW overlays" in Developers Options, turn it off. It causes stutters at 120Hz. You can also try changing launchers (Evie & Nova are good).
On that note, please make sure you aren't playing with Settings that might be causing you all these issues.
3. WhatsApp & FB Gallery show all media on my phone, except for ones I hid myself (.nomedia).
Even the ones that are located within 3 folders, like Download - New Folder - Research Data.
Note: It could be due to privacy settings of your Editing App/Phone. Or the file format of your edited pictures isn't supported by Whatsapp & Facebook.
For example, I think FB only supports 3 image formats (jpg, png & gif).
4. On calls with earphones, sound comes from earphone & switches to earpiece automatically when I unplug earphones.
Note: Check any sound settings you've done. Including "TalkBack", if you've turned it On, "Switch to speaker automatically" & Developer's Options as well.
My previous phone was a Realme. If I would call someone during Zoom meetings without earphones, all sounds would switch to earpiece & remain as is after call. The mic would also not work even with earphones. In this phone, the mic works.
5. Lastly, if the issues still persists, i suggest taking it to their service center & ask them to reflash its ROM (not reset). Maybe you were just unlucky.
They can also downgrade its version, if you want. I'm on 12.0.6.

I have a Poco X3 NFC, and it's been 6 months since I've purchased it and it is a bang for your buck, no bugs, no issues and with the latest release of Poco X3 Pro and Poco F3, I might opt to upgrade

I have been using Poco X3 NFC for 2 months.
Major issues with this phone:
- earphone mode still on after unplugging earphone, it's basically turned the phone into silent mode. I had to reset my phone to disable the earphone mode until I found a way to solve it by calling any number and turning the speaker on during the call
- can't find newly added songs in ringtone selection. However I can play the song in music player and file manager.
- edited photos did not show up in whatsapp, facebook & whatever gallery. I can see it in its own photo gallery.
- the UI will slow down after a week of usage, my memory storage is not even half full and I'm not super intensive in using my phone. Just facebooking, calling and messaging. I have to reset my phone so it can run smoothly (120hz) again for a week, then rinse and repeat.
Poco X3 NFC and other xiaomi/redmi phones, can be incredibly impressive on hardware specs as well as prices but the UI and software related performances are extremely poor. It's like a car manufacturer only cares about how much horsepower their car can churn out but they they totally forgot about the driving comfort.
I had actually given up on using Xiaomi/Redmi phone for 4 years after using 3 of their models due to poor performance. I can't believe the problems still persist after all these years. This will be my last xiaomi/redmi phone, I will be moving to Oppo/Realme or Vivo.
