Nagi, 01 Mar 2021Hi , I just wanted to say that my Poco X3 NFC is Heating so... moreMine is fine. Usually if the phone is heat, it is normal because it is running on heavy duty I guess. But the Poco X3 NFC I use is better than my Realme 7.

I've heard people complain about issues after 12.0.7 update, so I can tell you that it's not perfect.
I don't know if performing a hard reset will fix those issues or not.

arsalankk, 28 Feb 2021Can a android phones nerd help me with this? used Mi 9t wi... moreDepends on what you want really. Personally, I'd consider OnePlus if I wanted a better phone than Poco X3 in my range.

              Camera: Mi 8 (OIS) > Mi 9T = Poco X3
Poco X3 has advantages over Mi 9T in terms of video recording & camera specs over Mi 9T. Just that 9T has Telephoto camera, which might be considered better depending on the person you ask.

              Performance: Mi 8 > Poco X3 > Mi 9T

              Battery: Poco X3 > Mi 9T > Mi 8 (small battery)
              Charging: Poco X3 > Mi 9T > Mi 8

              Display Quality: Mi 8 (Super AMOLED, HDR 10) > Mi 9T > Poco X3
              * AMOLED panels allow you to better observe & differentiate colors while watching videos/pictures.
              * Poco X3 display is Smoother than both due to 120Hz, which allows you to read text while scrolling & makes navigation more seem smoother. It also has HDR 10. So it can be better depending on your preferences.

              Amplifier Quality: Mi 9T > Mi 8 > Poco X3
              * All 3 phones support 24bit music, but there can still be a difference.
For example, Poco X3 has Stereo speakers which are very nice to listen to compared to other phones. But as Gsmarena said, its amplifier struggles to handle mid-tones. So I can't tell an "audiophile" who listens to HiFi music that this is the best choice for you.
              * Not sure how other two phones amplifiers compare.
              * Mi 8 doesn't have Audio Jack & has small battery, so this can result in not-the-best sound experience in practical use for a heavy user.
As wireless earphones quality isn't as good as wired earphones. You can use dongle to connect wired earphones, but then you can't charge its small battery.

Updates: Poco X3, or Poco phones in general are slow with updates. I think Mi & Redmi phones get more updates.

Has anyone never updated their phone ever since they bought it? Is there any issues? Like stutter, battery drain, lag etc.? I'm just planning to buy the poco x3 a few days. Should I update it immediately or wait for more stable update?

Has anyone updated to the latest miui version (which I believe is 12.0.8, correct me if I'm wrong)? And if so, any issues with the update so far? Are those issues only occured after updating it? No issues before the latest update? I'm planning to buy the POCO X3 in a few days. The question is should I update it to the latest version? Has anyone never updated their phone to the latest version?

new poco x3 nfc with lcd and sd 732g (8nm)
almost same price for all three. Used ones are not refurbished and have no defects. Which is the best deal?

Neutron Music Player offers truly original quality HiFi music, and is my top preference for wired earphones.
                      But its theme looks old/ugly.

Poweramp offers best/better quality when listening to music on wireless earphones - or at least, my Mi Airdots 2.
It's good for listening to HiFi music on wired earphones as well, but I like Neutron sound quality better in that regard.

Khan, 27 Feb 2021Excellent phone but the display sucks. I regret recommendin... moreWhat's wrong with the display? I personally think it's fine, or even pretty good. I do a lot of reading & navigation so 120Hz makes it very comfortable for my eyes.
It's smooth/doesn't stutter for me & I can read text while scrolling. HDR10 is also present.

I use "Standard" Colour Scheme, as according to Gsmarena it increases its colour accuracy within sRGB to 3.3 - which is quite good.
I also use "Warm" Colour Temperature sometimes to further suppress blue tint as a personal preference. *You can use it with "Auto" Color Scheme if you prefer brighter colors while also suppressing blue tint.

Only thing that can make it better imo is AMOLED display, which allows better separation between multiple colors while watching videos/pictures.
But phones in this price don't have good quality AMOLED panels, so I'd rather have this.

Excellent phone but the display sucks. I regret recommending it to a friend due to the poor display. Like one look at the phone and the display looks dull. Apart from that, excellent chipset, decent enough camera, great battery, great charging

Anonymous, 27 Feb 2021is the camera really good?..im planning to buy one and the ... moreThe back camera really impressed me. It captures good quality, noise free (grain free) videos & pictures when in lowlight with just one 12W bulb at night.
The video modes are just amazing, as you can see in Gsmarena review. It can record stabilised 4K from Ultra Wide Camera & even stabilised 1080P@60FPS.

Selfie camera isn't as good & Gcam is 100% needed to take good Selfies.
The Gcam I use is ( UltraCVM_v8.apk ) with setting/config file from XDA ( UltraCAM8_v2.xml ), but I edited the config a little to make it better. It captures very good selfies with it, and I'm hoping to make it even better.

Stock camera has high sharpness in Selfie Camera, which is why it isn't good. It makes it look like you've open pores even when you don't. Front cam should always have minimum possible sharpness before the point of being blur.
And I also think its saturation is slightly higher than it should be - making your skin look darker/browner than it actually is, but all Xiaomi phones have high saturation.

Besides, why do you need Android 11? There is a feature in Android 11 you are interested in, which is not present in Android 10?
