Bought this phone when it launched in September 2021, from Aliexpress.
    Price 250 USD
After 2,5 years of use this is my opinion:

Best value/quality I've ever seen in a phone.

I like to game a bit: 6gb of ram and the snapdragon 732g run great. and it has a "Game Mode", you can tell the phone heats up a bit with more 3d demanding games. I like to test it with a game called: Sky (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tgc.sky.android&hl=es_419&gl=US) this game is beautiful but also very graphic demanding for any phone.
Netflix or videos in general: Screen has a 120hz and the speaker is very loud.
Resistance/Quality: I have a 1 year old son and he drops it on the floor and the phone is intact. Parents will know the struggle of their kids destroying their phones.
    Daily usage:
    - Battery: is great, still lasts 2 days. and the 33w fast charging is still very good even in 2023.
    - Camera I would say is very average: I don't use it that much so it doesn't bother me a lot as I don't use any social network. But if you are an Instagram or Tiktok kind of person this phone is not for you.

The only major CON I think: it's a bit bulky. I like to go running and the 6.67 screen, 215g and 9.4mm with the cameras module feels like a brick in my pocket. on top of that consider a thick case, to protect it from my son haha.

Other CON: it came with ADS, yes at begining it was annoying but you can actually disable all of them. With a good tutorial from youtube you can disable around 6-7 ads that the phones comes with.

Overall: Amazing value for money. a bit bulky and regular camera. 8/10 for 250 USD!

Yeah it’s a little bit of a pain but that’s the tradeoff with these phones, good hardware with mediocre software

So after almost two years of using the phone I have developed a deep love/hate relationship with it.

On the plus side it packs a lot of performance for the bucks. The camera performs admirably. Games run smoothly. Two SIMs - not a problem. Haven't broken it yet, though that might be thanks to the rugged case.

Now for the things that drive me mad.
Ads, ads, ads here, ads there, ads everywhere. Want to browse your files - get interrupted by ads. Want to change the ringtone - get interrupted by ads. Want to change the theme - get interrupted by ads. Want to install an app - get interrupted by ads. The MIUI version of Android on this phone should come labelled "Free with ads" because it is packed with more ad delivery than your grandparents' web browser bars.
Connectivity to and integration with other devices also suffer from serious issues and I think it is because the MIUI does not have the full functionality of the Android core.

The overall feeling is that I have bought a device that I have quite poor control of. Because of all the ad-delivery, the insistence that I share everything with the Mi Cloud and the abundance of bloatware I am constantly worried about using my phone to make payments or in any other way accessing financial accounts.

This phone is probably ok as a personal phone if you're not put off by all the incompatibilities, ads, poor integration with other equipment and a truckload of bloatware but if you intend to use it professionally you should look definitely look elsewhere.

I have bought and used it for 2 years until now it is still in good condition, even though the back lid is moldy, but for me it doesn't matter that the important thing is that it can still be used and works well

Phone is great after 1 years use. Camera is perfect, Sony camera is the best camera and for this money (and much) is the best phone for me.

You may want to try resetting the phone first and see if it fixes.
But how can they sell the phone to you if they don't know what POCO is?
Your comment does not make much sense, or maybe I haven't fully understood your situation.

An update shouldn't cause that much damage or else Xiaomi won't be able to sell their phones.

had mine for 2 years since January 2021.. and still works perfectly fine! There are some bugs but for me it's fine as long as it doesn't interfere much of my daily tasks and gaming.. The best android phone I had :D

Had mine a while ago for a wee 30 bucks because it's Mi Account was locked (prolly stolen), had it bypass for 20 dollars and sold it for 150 bucks.

Then the buyer updated it in which I told not to. So he had a locked X3 NFC now.
