My fatherś poco x3 pro and mine were both dead after only 2 years. And poco never made a statement discussing all the things that are happening. Even my cousins poco m3 was already deadboot 2 years ago after only 3 months of using. Please dont buy poco if it was hard earned money.

Its been 2 years since its launch... Many are already died.. see the users openion section.. 8 out of 10 r complaining thats their px3pro died.. now the dead speed has increased.. its started from india and now dead phone issues r comming all around the world...rebirth via Cpu reball chances r also very thin.. as patient unable to recover from coma and then technicaian gives the final word.. we regret to inform u that its dead

Phone died randomly, not used for heavy gaming since bought in 2021. Tried to force restart it showed the POCO logo briefly, then screen went white then grey them garbled pixels then black. Tried to force restart again no sign of life. Not responding to charger. As per technician needs CPU reballing, what a waste it was a very good phone for it's price.

Probably (not probably) the worst phone I bought. Mine died last week, deadboot and I took it to the local repair center near mine. Died the night I took it. Then I took it back to repair again then 1 day later as I was browsing Facebook, it died again. I dunno what to do since I don't have money for replacement yet since I'm just s student. I really need a phone because I use it often for my studies now gone. I'll take it back to the repair shop tomorrow. Anywayyy, does installing new firmware and factory data reset the phone minimize the chance of this happening?

Strength of the phone is the battery and the sd 800 series chipset.
The only con i have is the ips screen which I struggle with whenever i am out in the sun

1. CPU throttling over small ta... morelol just because there's people who got good experience except you, It doesn't mean you are the voice of wisdom and their opinions are invalid. Each phone is a world.
I previously owned this phone (8/256) and the only thing that I agree with you was the mobo quality, they used the same poco x3 board for a much better soc and that's a time bomb, hence the lots of sudden deaths reported. But otherwise, was good for what I paid (290$ for the upper variant), ran plenty games (also on emulation) at highest settings with minimal throttling , even with MemeUI never faced slowdown or forced closed background apps, also with 90 tabs open on the browser with no problem, good display, ok camera but improves with gcam.

The cons of this phone are
1. CPU throttling over small tasks
2. Overheating
3. Large battery consumption when idle
4. Uses MIUI which is by far the biggest problem with this phone!
5. System instability
6. Low quality motherboard
7. Lots of issue via connecting to wifi or cellular data.
8. IPS LCD.
9. Unbalanced ram usage, tasks sometimes close in the background by itself.
My personal problems that I can't fix
1. Microphone doesn't work
2. phone doesn't recognize and no audio output through Wired headphones.
3. Low wifi speeds.
Mine is old year and a half
People who are talking good about this phone clearly have no idea what are they talking about.

I think for me the major drawbacks on this phone is the IPS display which in this one is bad and have slow response time (24ms black to white and 50.8ms grey to grey) compared to a AMOLED display which have around 1ms to 5ms response times and the SD680 its getting outdated with low GPU frequency.

Phone dead after 1 year and 4 months... I've used it for gaming and it's great but i guess I've pushed it too far by maxing out the graphics or some stuff like that. I've never used it while charging either.

After completion of 23 months my phone got dead out of warranty, heavy issue in this model that's why company extended the warranty by 6months. 19000 for 23 months costly not value for money ,
Advice - kindly extend your warranty atleast for 2years.

I've bought mine in 2021 apr when IT launched and still runs fine. I have to reset IT after major updates.....I hate the software in IT but love the performante. No issues
