Almost 2 years with the "motherboard issues phone".
Great phone,no bootlooping/UI crashing until now.
Gaming capabilites is OFC extreme performance for it's price
Still loses to my mi pad 5 tho on some scenario (maybe because of weird MIUI that poco has) No issues on MIUI 13.0.9 SJUMIXM (December Security Patch)

Bought this phone 1 year 3 months ago. I never played games. I flashed custom degoogled rom right after I bought it. Now want to flash official rom to play games. How is it going to affect phone's life? Most games cant be played in degoogled aosp rom. When I try cpu monitor shows temparute 45-55 degree. Should I flash official stock rom?

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2023and my poco x3 pro phone's still laughing at your dead... moreI think you are completely missing the point of this discussion here. This is not about your phone but the overall experience of all the people who bought it. Again, stop assumming that other people did something on their phone that triggered the issues as I can assure you that I'm one of those people who do not do these things.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2023and my poco x3 pro phone's still laughing at your dead... moreman.. stay happy but as far as i know 99% of ppl with dead p x3 pro.. they never debaloated their phones.. majority were on stock firmware . not even rooted... so removing any thermal management app is out of question.. as i specified earlier in my comment that some p x3 pro back to life after reballing cpu.. that means everything was ok.. its just the poor construction i.e.double decor issue ram is installed right on top of cpu .. in pc's they use fans heatsinks to cool cpu's but in cell phone they installed ram on top of cpu... ? they know it will fail in an year or so.. coz its not long lasting.. it suits the cell phone companies.. not the end users. they want ppl to buy new ones .. how could it be possible that xiaomi dont know it is not long lasting.. it was deliberate or maybe ignorance.. stats proves that phones started working after reball of cpu.. which indicates solder shorted out again n again.. reball cpu runs for few month also.. things r quite clear now.. all evidences are out there

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2023Not sure what people are going on about the phone spontaneo... moreGood to know your phone still works after 2 years. Before my phone had the reboot loop issue last month, like you, I had much appreciation to the phone. I was overall satisfied with its performance as indeed it exceeded my expection. I also continously refused to believe people who raised the reboot loop and deadbot issue until I experience it myself. People complained about this here, on FB and on YT. The amount of complains and number of people complaining is alarming. There's no need to educate me about how to use the phone because I take of it like it was my last. Needless to say, this is the last Poco phone I'll ever gonna buy.

After 13 month it's dead... I approached the services center they told the manufacturers has extended the warranty for six months due to multiple failures. I haded over the phone. Now the issue is they are unable to repair it due to short supply of spares.

Is there a way to escalate my complaint.

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2023Not sure what people are going on about the phone spontaneo... moreJust wait. Mine died at 1 year and 8 months, and that's with great care. I know how to take care of electronics. Many x3 pros were failing sooner. I know self desoldering sounds crazy but from many x3 pro reparations videos on YouTube that really seems to be the case. Once the cpu is resoldered the phone can be booted again, but the deadboot problem might come back later. If your 3x pro is still alive, could you install cpu temp monitor app? I too am curious how hot the cpu was that it desolder itself, especially given that it does get really hot when using the 33 watt fast charger or playing games.

Not sure what people are going on about the phone spontaneously dying. So far for the past year and a half or so the phone has held up. The phone gets toasty after a while playing games which is fairly normal given how the games(depends on game duh) are graphically intensive. Charging getting warm is fairly normal given the higher wattage at 33w. Given the issues of physical hardware desoldering itself seems to be the general consensus, there doesn't seem to be enough incidents globally to garner enough attention via media. Another thing is that for the phone to heat up enough to desolder is a bit farfetched given the melting point of solder. On a small note MIUI 14(Android 13) is to be released for the X3 Pro by the end of the month(assumed at least) it may resolve most power issues at that point.

EU and other regions r also the same story...after complex research i found that culprit is not the software updates.. its the hardware Mounting issue altogether.. snapdragon 860 is beast processor no problem wid cpu ... majority of dead poco x3 pro phones after 11 months or after one year... why.. CPU solder short from inside..(Why??? ) ppl go to repair shops and they just reball the cpu.. means they open up and resolder the cpu... the question is why?? lot of Heating fast charger gaming fry the solder .. again why?? heating to a temp where solder gets melted.. main cause is double decor construction of cpu and ram... when cpu heats up it also heats the ram... eventually frying the solder... to save cost & space double decor cpu & ram at one place causing dead again n again... xiaomi has lost million customers

Poco X3 pro is the worst regarding with company that has manufactured whilst blaming faulty updates poco X3 pro heating issues mainly cause the cpu to fry out and also motherboard issue letting the phone to completely black out mostly happens when you buy in india

Just helping fellow Poco X3 Pro user... if you're experiencing reboot loop, just press the on/off botton continuously until the MIUI logo appears. It worked for me and a lot of owners that had the same issue.

You can try to look for the youtube vid for this. Don't follow other recommendation.
