im xiaomi supporter for near a decade, own 4 xiaomi phone for me and my family. but i think i wont be supporting xiaomi anymore after this. as my poco x3 pro also die recently. same issue as all other ppl saying here.

Mine died exactly almost 3 years after bought, same problem as anyone else motherboard issue bad soldering. Will never buy from xiaomi/poco again, but if one insist on a chinese phone honor/huawei is your best bet with better qc. Dont buy a POCO !

I have bought mine since it came out June 2021 and today it is 3 years and 4 months old and still works perfectly. With the battery level at 80% and with the paint and buttons intact. Very sturdy phone, I dropped it many times and it didn't even scratch. The phone has been wet many times, and I also live in a very hot and dusty. Excellent purchase

Mine died on 20/9. Replying to those saying not upgrading android should be the way, it's and inherent X3 problem. I switched mine to custom ROM since bought and it still died from same motherboard issue like my friend. Meanwhile, the OG Pocophone F1 with Pixel Experience still running fine. Great phone but that is some glaring issues.

Mine died friday 13/9! Was my unlucky day... After 3 years of gaming and normal use, turned off after 30min of GPS travel. The last words where: you arrived at your destination. After the screen got locked, it rested on peace. RIP ugliest but beast phone ever made!

Im still using it right now and hopefully it won't be dead :)
From my experience in the first year it died because the motherboard was burnt :) but luckily it's still under guarantee so it was taken to be repaired for around one week and then still running very well until right now. The body's temperature is cooler after the repairment. The heavy gaming experience, camera and battery life are beyond my expectation in that price

If your phone works perfectly in the beginning, just update the apps from the playstore. If the phone struggles when you bought it at the first usage, then buy another one more powerful. That's it !
Upgrading android versions over the years is a marketing strategy to kill your phone slowly !
BTW i'm still on android 11 on my POCO X3 Pro !

i have been using this phone for about 3 years , yesterday it went blank went to the repair shop turns out the motherboard is dead and all the data is gone. And its a common problem especially after 3/4 years and MIUI 14 update. the experience was good but the ending is bitter.

After this experience I will never buy a Xiaomi phone again

Im using this until now because this phone can play codm with 120hz and 120fps unlike other budget phone have high specs but can't play fps

It's not a phone to be used in summer/hot weather, at least not with a fan blowing it cold air. If AIDA64 readings are to be trusted, just using it for Internet browsing (sites as this one) in such conditions it goes to 40°C easily and idle temperatures are not much lower. Pressing it harder (benchmarks, Google Camera using HDR, after a reboot) goes easily to 60° if not even more to the point of being genuinely worried.
I'm not a gamer, thankfully, as I'm imagining how hot must go when playing demanding games for long.

My just die last month after almost 3year and i go to repair shop for cpu reballing, and now it been 1 month and 8 days and i afraid to play heavy games and I hope it last 1-2 more years 🥲
