Will the ROM from this brand be stable if used for long term?

I've been using Poco F3 for three years now and its proximity sensor was a real pain in the ass the whole time. According to a YouTube video from the "Versus channel" in which Poco x7 pro was compared to some Samsung device, they talked about the virtual proximity sensor that the poco x7 pro had and it had issues like before. I know that here it's written that it has proximity sensor not the virtual sensing, but I know Samsung devices like Galaxy A54 that use virtual sensing and have a really good response to the movements, but my first experience with poco was not good and I fear even if it has a physical sensor, it may have problems. So I'd appreciate it if you share with me the experience you have with the proximity sensor of this device. Thank you.

What about the battery in real life?I have the poco x6 pro and i am not happy (i dont play games). The comparison between the 2 devices is almost 1 hour better for the X7 pro and i think its bad (other phones with 6000Mah battery have better results). One reason that i want to change my poco x6 pro is that after 280 days of usage i have 310 cycles.

Same cheap LYT-600 Sony 50MP 1/1.95" Main Sensor, as into the new Poco M7 Pro 5G.
Now the cam from the entry level sub 200 bucks phone is being "up-cycled" to the X7 Pro...something new from Xiaomi...

Anonymous, 17 Jan 2025Does this brand still have issues with the motherboard and ... moreI've ran arena 10 times automatically on extreme graphics on Seven Knights 2 with high framerate and left it in the middle of the road in the Philippines at around 12 PM which was not on purpose since my pocket was small and it got dropped there. I was using mobile data at the time and found out I lost the phone. Backtracked and found it, the phone shut down. Cooling it down again for 5 minutes and phone starts back up with note saying: "The phone was overheating. Please provide it 2-3 minutes under cool temperature before using the device again." (or something similar to this) Later on, used the phone again for Wuthering Waves (also all high graphics and high framerate) and it acted like the overheating never happened.

So to put simply, the overheating of motherboard / boot-loop issue has been FIXED. This was X6 Pro so of course it should be with X7 Pro.

Anonymous, 16 Jan 2025Poco is the worst brand ever. my poco m4 pro just turn off ... morei interestingly have the opposite experience where mine and everyone is my family had problems with Samsung and poco just work. But I will say the main reason is cheap phones like your m4 or the Samsung ones we had just don't last. A phone like Samsung A55 or this X7 pro is pretty much starting point in price and specs if u want ur phone to last 3+ years

Anonymous, 16 Jan 2025Poco is the worst brand ever. my poco m4 pro just turn off ... moreSo you just owned one poco model and already know about poco brand?
                                      Yeah all right.
I've owned 2 models so far experience has been great.
That being said, heard about an issue for older model not being able to boot anymore due to motherboard failure so there is a risk.
Therefore, I usually look for refurbished ones with better price, then in case it breaks, it doesn't hurt my wallet much.

why there is someone commenting about poco m4 on this poco x7 pro comment section lol? if you have an older generation of poco phone ofcourse it bound to have problem lol
