The, 21 Dec 2024Im literally using a type-c earphone called the Celebrat D1... moreThere, that's 3 things that must work with each other and the user is responsible for buying the compatible product while there is no standard to know what is going to work with your phone. Also you just said you're using a (for you) cheap dongle and it works well. Sure, I accept that it does but there's another part to consider, a dongle adds or eats in to the budget of either your phone or your earphones and that may not be significant in Malaysia but to someone (including me) it can present a situation where I can either get a well made earphone or forcefully spend the partial budget on the dongle. I personally am not on board with that and surely I'm not the only one.

S I R E, 21 Dec 2024USB Audio sucks because it is not made to serve that purpos... moreIm literally using a type-c earphone called the Celebrat D13,It's actually good lol.The price is only about 6 dollars/6 euros/560 rupees(Around RM30 in my country).
I also use a 3.5mm to type-c dongle for my 3.5mm wired earphones and they don't even sound bad.
I'd say what matters is the dongle that you buy,the earphone that you buy,the phone that you buy and also you gotta customize the equalizer inside whatever the music player you're using while you listen to your music if you want it to sound better,it's not that hard imo.
As someone who's using a phone without a headphone jack I can relate cuz my previous phone also have it back then and I'm also sad that it's getting harder and harder to find a phone with a headphone jack, but I'm getting kinda used to using my charging port for my earphones. Also I might wanna try using a good but cheap pair of earbuds someday,I just gotta make sure that it got a good sound quality and also a very long battery life for the price.
Sorry for the long post,I just like to explain things.Hope you have a nice day 👌

Anonymous, 21 Dec 2024Can't believe there are still so many people around th... moreUSB Audio sucks because it is not made to serve that purpose. There are compatibility issues, having a single port for both charging and audio significantly increases the connect/disconnect frequency which significantly reduces the life-span on a given port. Audio jacks are built with this frequency in mind and they are as the name gives it away Analogue port, not digital. If the port and jack match there is not doubt that you will get Audio. It also completely gets rid of coversion processing and latency that can be a problem with external USB - 3.5mm jacks. Not all dongles work with all phones and that's a simple fact.
If you can't invest the time to understand why and how something works, don't act like someone has put the onus of that feature on you (the random internet user) and act like it is exhausting you.
Audio jacks are inexpensive and will forever remain irreplaceable.
You don't care for good audio or can't tell the difference, that's cool.
Don't negate someone who can and does!

I just wish somehow phones in the future to have separate hard drive inside the phone like the computers PCs, not like being inside the motherboard, glued, like on my poco x3 pro, cause in case of white screen, though shall i just snatch the drive put it in a reader and take everything from it in usb

Like that battery! Beefy and with fast charging. Hope this becomes the standard for midrange phones from now on.
