You can always wait a few months for X7P to drop in price. There's some strong names coming in the next few months that will push it down due to fierce competition, like Galaxy A56 and the POCO F7 series.

A lot of people here complain about no headphone jack or memory card slot, but I, personally, can't remember the last time I used wired headphones since I bought my JBL Tune 125BT. Or any other wired headphones with any other audio capable device I own. And memory card - do you really need it nowadays? Except for few dumb decisions made by manufacturers (I'm looking at you, S24 8/128), most phones have 256, 512 or even more GB of memory - that's plenty enough for everyday user or gamer (for which this phone is made).

My only two gripes would be bigger than necessary screens (6-6.2" should be the norm, why only flagships have those) and epidemy of oled/amoled screens (IPS 1080p is just perfect, imo. Why bother making something a lot more fragile and bad for eyesight?). But we'll see, maybe I'll like this X7 Pro and the screen won't be a problem (Meizu Note 8 owner rambling about).

Trololo, 19 Jan 2025whoever person that wanna good chipset & good cam tho j... moreIt's definitely a better phone. But as owner of iQOO 13, I'd probably get told to buy Samsung S25 Ultra instead in this context.

Each phone has different market segmentation, I recommended this phone to my friend that set a tight budget.

iQOO 13 is probably way too expensive for a specific category of people, bro.

+ xiaomi phones battery sucks but i'm still using the god damn phone

After nearly a week I can say with confidence the phone is very good. But definitely go for the 12GB RAM if you can, Software is overly aggressive with the 8GB one and can get annoying when your apps are closed for no reason. Hopefully they'll address that in future updates.

Battery last a lot, SoT is in the 7-8 hours range and normal usage takes 1.5 to 2 days overall. Main camera is solid, performance is top notch, screen is great. At its current price is a solid phone, but with further price drops in the future it will become a no brainer.
