Don’t get too excited about this garbage the 12+5 megapixel rear camera setup is a joke it doesn’t even have ois the eis only works up to 1080 p video the lcd display Can be outmatched by an iPhone 6s in terms of contrast ratio and colour vibrancy.the huge notch thick bezels and triple sized chin doesn’t help . The could have at least put in a metallic back instead of the plastic one and you don’t get 8 gigs of ram until you pay for the larger 256 gb variant . The heavy miui skin doesn’t help either you probably won’t ever get android version updates on this garbage

- Storage isn't a problem for me
- B20 isn't a problem too
In fact I just navigate on Internet or play little game like Clash Royal. I just want new sock and good battery life. For you, which smartphone is the best for my usage ?

I've used the Redmi Note 3, awesome it is! I recommended this to a friend who loves it!
All I want from any phone I own is, Audio quality, high Loudspeaker volume, and Camera quality and video modes. And it must be small and lightweight.
I use only a set of 20 or so apps and games, which work ok with anything, and so, the chipset isn't even the least of my bother.
I'm even upgrading from Redmi 2 for only one reason: Low light photography, and slow motion video recording...
But yes, your opinion holds true for most of the customers. I also use a DSLR, but not convenient to carry around. :D

This is pretty much a midrange phone made in cheap plastic and an SD 845. Dont let the organized excessive hype fool you. Its much cheaper than a flagship because its nowhere near a true flagship.

Also, Xiaomi supports there devices whereas Samesoon abandons their devices. Samsung is good with their top end range like note and galaxy s series but i dont wish a Samsung mid ranger on any one

anyone can help me to confirm, which smartphone screen are sturdy among this phone;
Pocophone F1 and Honor Play~ cause some people review that poco screen cant handle a simple drop at all, its fragile. by the way, im in big problem deciding either pocophone or honor play~

No NFC, no IR port.
No OIS on the camera.
Who would call this a flagship???
Oh, and I forgot about the plastic back. That's an absolute No-No! And the kevlar is waaaaay ugly and totally not cool.

James, 02 Sep 2018Why dont you try a glass for Mi 8, they are pretty similar ... morebecause the mi 8 doesn't have a 3.5mm audio port and a smaller battery. If you want a big battery and don't mind using a large phone i'd recommend the xiaomi mi max 3 it's got a 5500mah battery.

And what do they get ?....a cheap chinese phone cheaply made they have to change after a short time. Samsung customers value quality over price.
