Helioz, 31 Aug 2023This and Honor 90 Lite 5g. Which you guys recommend?it comes down to software. Do you like magic ui? If you don't, get this and install a custom rom when one becomes available. (pixel experience or lineageos with litegapps are good choices)

Of course a Snapdragon 4 gen 2 for that price will sell like hotcakes, it was a good deal when we saw the specs and price and it is a good deal now no matter how you look at it. It's the a52s of entry level budget phones.

Helioz, 31 Aug 2023This and Honor 90 Lite 5g. Which you guys recommend?Do not compare this phone with Honor 90 light. Both the phones are from different segments. This is bugget friendly phone whereas Honor 90 light is mid range phone.
What price point Redmi 12 5G offers, it has good specifications, good battery life & good camera too.
So its upto you, whether you want to save extra $100, then you can go for this phone.

Good day Everyone.,
Redmi 12 5G review in minimum points. Best 5G smart phone at this price range.
1. Design:- The phone is durable, stylish & pleasing. On top it has infra-red sensor that allows you to operate your home appliances with your phone. Also it has a glass back which gives the phone a premium look.
2. Display:- It has 6.79 inch IPS LCD display with refresh rate 90 Hz which is quiet impressive.
3. Performance:- With Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, the phone gives very descent performance.
4. Battery life:- The phone is equipped with 500 mAh battery which provides 1 day usage. At the same time, the phone supports 18 watt charging which is quiet slow & takes exactly 2 hrs 20min to get full charge from 0 to 100%
5. Camera:- The phone is equipped with dual camera - 50 mega pixel main sensor & 2 mega pixel depth camera which takes good photos. It has basic camera features. Also it has night mode. It supports 10x zoom. The photos, taken in day light or at night, have good detailings.
But if you are found of taking action /moving object photos, then you can download GCamera or Action Camera (from play store).You will love your photography experience.
The front camera has 8 mega pixel sensor which also takes good photos. But front camera lacks Night mode which is very bad. To overcome this, you can download GCamera as it has Night mode in front camera.
Video experience is quiet descent whether it's front or rarer camera as it lacked OIS feature. So use Tripod stand to get steady videos.
In Gallery Redmi has given an Editor feature which is basic, but than too everyone will love it as it's easy to edit on the go.
6. Verdict:- Redmi 12 5G delivers on all front. You get a good display, fantastic performance, good main camera and all day battery life under 15K budget.
