justasmile, 09 Aug 2023Ignore that feature. This is meant to be a budget gaming ph... moreMy phone has 4K support on both front and rear camera.
The silly thing is i used it probably twice since october 2020.
To me 4K is unnecessary in mobile as can't find much difference in picture quality of both 4K and 1080p on 6.4 inch mobile screen.
4K is immersive in TV or big desktop montitor if anyone have that.
Otherwise it is just capturing quality without use.

OpposedScroll75, 11 Aug 2023Modern BMS systems are pretty good at regulating the batter... moreI would not say much about battery chemistry as i know little about that.
Battery degradation can be noticed easily.
Like battery give low power back up now than when it was bought anew.
My current phone is used by me since 2020 october and till august 2023 i have noticed the battery back up is around 5 to 10 percent less than when i bought the device anew.
Anyone can observe these little things.
If battery lost 50 percent capacity then it is risky to use daily as i think.
Before that i don't think it is much risky.

I use a different device which has ufs storage and yeah the speed is way fast than emmc.
But emmc is fine for normal user in 2023.

you have to suffer, 10 Aug 2023the person you reply means the redmi number series. not red... moreI don't mean to be rude but I have to ask you one thing, what's up with your obsession with eMMC being bad?

It was still an industry standard on midrange phones in 2019, it still loads up apps and games fast enough for normal usage and doesn't cause any issues.

I get that UFS is quicker (I know because I'm using a UFS 2.2 phone right now) but honestly, eMMC still holds up very well for the average user to this day. The only thing I can think of that would show eMMC being slow is unpacking a large zip file. Please explain why you bash eMMC in nearly every comment you write.

To even be able to compare the two shows just how much more value Xiaomi still offers (even though they have been upping the price over the last couple of years) over companies like Samsung.

BABABOI, 11 Aug 2023And it’s battery will blow off sometime. I don’t want that.Modern BMS systems are pretty good at regulating the battery's internal chemistry, meaning that even if you do lose some capacity over time, the battery itself won't explode.

Plus the recent Samsung battery pillow issue is only affecting units that have been sitting in storage for a long time, so if you buy a used phone and use it regularily, the battery won't puff up.
