SkyFX, 17 Nov 2024Yes, I got way better memory score on Antutu with my Poco X... moreusing ufs 4.0 for ram extension may improves the performance. i still cannot believe they made a phone with emmc 5.1 yet has virtual ram. 1 year of use would appear "The system has been destroyed" message😱

Horrible lags heatup and overall terrible experiance compared to this 13C was better. Infact get Tecno spark 30c Better performance and everything else is way better and money better spent.

I can only imagine how bad it will be on eMMC 5.1. It's really in the gray zone of false advertising and it's really shady.

Xiaomi is heavily marketing the 4GB ram variant as having ram extension of 4GB, and using term "up to 8GB ram".
Virtual ram on emmc storage?! Won't this just degrade the already poorly performing emmc storage that's used in the 14c?
I've never ever noticed any benefit of ram expansion. On some of my previous 4GB ram phones that have the virtual ram feature, it makes no difference on or off. Multi tasking still feels limited

My one lags so much even doing bas... morehyperos ruined all this, since the system were so unstable and heavy, they are not designed for old chipsets like helio G85 rebrands. even infinix hot 50i runs faster than this, although they ran the same chipset as 14C.

Not a good phone at all. My one lags so much even doing basic tasks. Apps take a long time to load. Even accessing my gallery and the settings takes a while. Sometimes everything becomes unstable and the phone needs at least 20 seconds to compose itself before being able to do anything else.
The sound quality through the speaker and the headphone jack is very poor.
Battery life is ok. Nothing spectacular.
Yes the price is cheap, but the g81 ultra is such a poor poor poor choice for a processor in a new phone.
Not sure why they've used such a nice big display as this phone is only good for calls and texts. It lags when using instagram, tiktok and youtube. YouTube videos don't always play smoothly. The system becomes unstable. Bbc iplayer lags. Netflix lags. Tiktok lags so much. It's a horrible media/entertainment experience. Laggy and poor sound.
I've reset and rebooted the phone so many times already, but the same problems. I'm looking to sell or trade it as soon as i can. Big mistake on my end. I only got it because the screen is big and flicker free. I thought it'd be good for entertainment/media but i was very wrong.
Only plus point is the screen. It's nice and big. That's it. Everything else is a no go.
