AnonD-266983, 18 Oct 2014" REDUCING OF PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AFTER PURCHASE IS... morei installed miui 45 atonce i got the phone on 16th. there is heating issue is minimum. when i checked cpuz it shows max 1.59 ghz and 3.3 ghz foe min for all cores. free ram is around 400 mb. there is no lag at all for gaming also. but battery drains quickly. compare to my gionee its little bit higher side..hope kitkat update will overcome this issue.camera performence is very good no phone can beat redmi in this price range. apart from battery drain issue i'm satisfied with this phone..

I buy this phone and it is so wonderful phone I have ever seen but one problem found that it consume more data when I only suffering the Facebook so please suggest me how I save my data...

If its laggy or slow and want 1.6 ghz just use performance mode in Security..power settings.
I use performance mode while gaming and balanced normally.
There is always a way and stop complaining like kids.

What a great phone man i have ever seen the music is so good and camera quality is awesome.And after the updating the phone to miui 45 the heating problem and ram avalability is solved now after updating the phone is working so good and no heating issuses and ram.Realy nice phone

I update to 45 heating gone but pH become so slow everything is lagging. What to do how to go back to version 36 pls tell. Pls provide link

After removing unnecessary Google applictions itself the phone is really runing without heating problem . I am using v36 software .

Actually redmi 1s cpu is 1.6ghz quad core but after lot of people complained about heating problem in it then xiaomi underclocked its cpu to 1ghz dual core. If over clocking rises heating problem then y it is over clocked? Is Xiaomi engineers dont know this? Are they road side mechanics? Infact xiaomi knows that over clocking rises heating problem but to put redmi 1s in top position among all mobiles available in the marcket and to beat all brands xiaomi decided to over clock its cpu. Its main compititor is moto g, to beat moto g, its cpu was over clocked. Moto g has 1.2ghz where as redmi 1s has 1.6ghz. Redmi 1s clock speed is Nearly 30% higher than that of moto g. So obviously people thinks redmi 1s is better than moto g. But people dont know that redmi 1s was overclocked. By seeing specifications people purchased redmi 1s. After purchase its cpu was underclocked to 1ghz dual core.
We paid for 1.6ghz quad core now we got 1ghz dual core...wow...what a way of chaeating people...hello smasung nokia micromax follow this technique...it works in india

I update it to 45. Heating problem is gone but phone become so sluggish games are not responding lagging now. Every thing become slow in pH. What to do? How to go back to version 36 pls tell anyone.
