Official CyanogenMod 14.1 nightly builds has been released for Redmi 1S.

    jayadev, 23 Nov 2016hi bro . I'm using red mi 1s. how is possible to use 4G in this. I have repeatedly posted that this phone will not support 4g.
    It is only capable of 3g. Nothing related to 4g will work.

    Jio sim will work as normal sim, but you will never be able to take advantage of its 4g capabilities.

          How do you sprout SIM cards????

          Redmi1s is 3g phone and not 4g. NO 4g Sim will work with it as it is not capable of 4g.

You can even change the settings of the storage so when you take a picture it automatically saves to your sdcard. You didn't even try.

                        I'm using this phone since past a few months.

                        Pros:
                        Rear camera has competitive abilities.
                        After upgrading to MIUI8, the inbuilt picture and video editors are awesome.
                        supports OTG


                        Cons:
                        I'm a heavy user (continuous social media, online shopping, web browsing) and thus battery last nearly 9-10 hours.
                        At times i feel battery is draining even in standby mode.

                              It has absolutely no 4g connectivity options.no software update can help.

                              It's a 2 years old system and its nearing its end. Don't keep hopes on this handset anymore. It's a wonderful handset, but now more capable handsets are available.
