You have to sort the permissions out in Security then it'll all work.
It sounds daft, but it's actually very clever. It stops rogue apps from peppering you with ads.

im using this phone...its really a great phone but i have one problem i don't get notifications of apps like watsapp we chat fb n messenger... its like miui stops background apps by itself. i locked apps in multi tasking tray n in security app i choosed some apps for auto start.. n it works for a bit n then again it stops notifying me.... it work's after a reboot bt still it stops.....anyone having same issue.??..can anyone help me ???..overall its really a good fone...

I am using redmi 1s. Smone pls tell hw to move app frm main memory to sd card. If i download any app it goes to main memory due to which am facing low memory issues and ph gets slower.also can pics earlier stored on ph be moved to sd card cos i dn find any option to move them frm main memory to card.

maggie, 01 Apr 2015why should I prefer this mobile? if its having network pro... morei think he/she just hate the phone but for me xiaomi selling a great phone in a good price that can match other phone midrange level the camera lens of xiaomi is sony so expect a great camera in dual sim phone only the sim one is 3g no issue in reception it still depends on the network provider im using redmi 1s for half a year so far so good as long you know how to take care the phone

Not only 3g it's b both sim slots support 4g. And this is the best feature you can get in a phone of just 7k

redmi 2
plus points- battery , camera , memory management, display. etc............
minus- no headset.
buy it without thinking anything because its like I phone.
everything is better than any other phone of price greater than 1500rs. or even lenovo a6000.
even my last phone Sony xperia L was in no compition against redmi 2 .
redmi 2 is so far one of best budget phone that I have ever seen.

why should I prefer this mobile?
if its having network problem like somebody wrote on review only 1st sim supports to 3G. Somebody wrote picture quality is so poor,like 3-4 mega pixels
