Poor product. If I load any movie it gets over heated and turned off.

I have a problem with some cell phone company software, that try to send a message, it pukes up error 21 sms code.
Auto brightness sensor doesnt work sometimes it gets stuck although setting shows low.
When someone has called me, activating my wifi, makes the caller ringtone to activate for 0.5 a second.
Heats up easily with GPS and-or charging even in night, and pops an alarm. 45C+

I updated my phone and after update was completely I rebooted my phone .after that it didn't recovered.And now it's not getting started.Only fastboot mode is displayed I also tried to reset but it's doesn't working

I have used this phone from one year ,2 days ago I updated my phone with MIUI 8 then onwards when I get a call it will show me a screen off mode...only..I listen ring tone...after I press the power button. It will show in top of the of the screen ...how to solve this plz help .......

At first it w... moreBro i would say that you should low down the brightness of your phone and turn it to automatic brightness mode, from this your phone will perform better and the battery issue will be also solved........:-)

1-In starting it will heat up and it is not a big issue
2-I would say that you should low the brightness of your mobile and use the mobile data when required
And if again facing same problem then you should take it to nearest Mi Service Center

i purchase the phone on 8/9/2015. tommrow atomatic the phone display is gone, i switch off the phone nd also rest the phone for whole night but same issue i faced, but phone is on calls r comming. also a big problem there is no service center in nasik (maharashtra)plz give me some suggestion

I purchased xiaomi redmi 2 4 days back when i started using my device it would heat a lot even when i am not use also.And it used to take a lot of time to get charge full.Battery draining problem also i had hardly i was able to use my device upto 2 and half hours.I just observed my device for 2 days and i fixed to return purchase.So in order to delete entire my personal data i did my phone to reset factory settings so that i can delete my play store account from the device and to uninstall all my other accounts like facebook account,gmail account and as well as uninstall apps which i have installed. After performing Factory reset the mobile was switched on with full charge and mobile also very cool.From that day onwards my mobile is working properly i dont have heating problem and i have good battery back up upto 7 to 8 hours even i am on wifi and playing games.Now my mobile is perfect.

worst phone.....battery draining issue,proximity sensor issue, 3 times motherboard problem exessive heating........4 times given on centre in 1 year....bad service...service time 1-2 month....
