Npk, 24 Jul 2016Guys..Redmi 2 1GB works poor on MIUI 7/8..Please do a compl... moreMiui 7/8 some times lags on 1 GB redmi 2. But no such problem in Redmi 2/Prime 16GB version with 2 GB ram. I gets a SOT of 6 hours.

Latest android version is 5.1.1 lollipop Miui 8 with Volte support. But only beta version is available wait for august for 'stable version.
5.1.1 lollipop with Miui 7 is already available.

Guys..Redmi 2 1GB works poor on MIUI 7/8..Please do a complete wipe and install cyanogenmod 13 Custom rom which you may get from XDA developers forum.Iam using CM13 nightly-wt88047 Android 6.0.1 from the last 3 months.Device is working fluently and almost 4 hours of SOT for normal usage with the battery.

UPDATED TO GLOBAL BETA ROM MIUI 8...i did not find anything new. Even a single new function...why this update is provided..just wastage of 746 mb of data.

I used this phone. It's camera is normal ok, but whear as it's processor just 1.2ghz, that's why it's huged hitting problem, and battery not good backup, sometimes its slow, messanger not suported. Then I returnd the product.

Poor product. If I load any movie it gets over heated and turned off.
