try another USB cable or try FTP method for wireless file transfer. works well for small files.

I have the 8gb 1mb ram phone. Good phone for the price.. However seem to have a problem when connected through USB to a laptop.. Unable to detect the phone and transfer data. Any suggestions.

I have mi 2 one gb ram phon . after 6 month using i find my fone 's upper side is heating fast heating and battery has come down only 2 hourse so plese do not bu this phon

I did buy this redmi 2 1gb version on 14th jan 2016.. after reading all reviews I have come to the conclusion it is the handset for me.. nice display.. awesome sound quality both in speaker and headphone... nice camera..bit laggy though in miui 6 .. but after having the upgrade to MIUI 7.1 stable version what i have observed...
1. RAM management has become better . now free ram availability is 350-450 mb . in MIUI 6 it was only 250 mb
2. processing becomes bit faster
3.more themes and more security added
4. battery life has marginally improved
but there are some cons as well
cons no
1. in MIUI 6 the music out put through headphone was unbeatable . the high volume was unmatched and the bass was out of his world .. but after the upgrade to MIUI 7.1 stable the volume has become bit low(10%) and that bass is missing . I hope in next update they will solve it
2. some times gmail crashes
3. bit heavy
over all it is a best handset under 6000 rs. No one can give you a handset like this at this price. if you are a music lover through headphone , camera enthusiast , tech savvy .. then close your eyes and go for this handset and save minimum 5000 rs which you can invest in other set after 2 years ... its not a matter of being poor or rich its a matter of brain.. invest logically and enjoy REDMI 2

Upgraded MIUI 7 global version..everything working well and massive improvement in performance..!!
