I m very disappointed with this phone because over heating problem.after replacing motherboard in service center.and the service is also very slow.its take very long time to slove u r problem. So think about the phone then purchase...

I'm having network issues with my Redmi 2 Prime (7.0.5.0 Stable), which I bought two weeks back.
i) The SIM1 signal goes off every now & then, which is my primary calling SIM. I have to toggle signal off/on. SIM1 is of Airtel.
ii) SIM2(for 3G use) keeps fluctuating between bands(on 3G preferred mode) also most of the time the speed is 0.5 KB/s & nothing opens, I have to toggle data off/on. Please add more options in network like '3G Only' & '4G Only'. SIM2 is of BSNL.
There is no issue in telecom providers as I had been using them for years in my area on different Samsung flagship phones.
I'm really frustrated with these issues. Kindly look into it & provide a stable solution to this as soon as possible. Xiaomi seems to have broken my trust which I had instilled. Very unfortunate.

Simply amizing phone within this price point. updated to MIUI 7, now it is more smooth then MIUI 6. No heating issue at all or hanging issue. Only indoor camera quality is not that good but OK to me.

what about the problems when your Redmi 2 is always shutting off whenever you put a headset...have you encounter that problem????
