Using in Australia and very happy with performance of 1gb ram version. For the price there is very little that can compare. However a lot of xiaomi software is only chinese even tho the rest of the phone is english. This does not impact upon using the device at all as it really is optional boatware, you can install a custom rom anyway if thats so much of an issue. Stock rom has about ~300mb ram free with general use. Game performance is good (a little lag on Heathstone during loading but not really present in game), battery lasts ~2 days with general use. Camera quality is good.

I having Redmi 2 & Redmi 2 Prime there is a big difference between the camera.Redmi 2 Prime camera is poor to it's predecessor Redmi 2.

i bought redmi 2 recently and working fine. but 2 days before suddenly over heat and battery drained fast i didnot use it. after i go to service center they solve the problem. after 3 days running very nice. but yesterday given same problem i charge daily 3 times day time only what can i do?

I use redmi 2 prime only two days and I face lots of problem like heating, battery backup and battery is full chrged in 4-5 hrs....every time this mobile heats .I returned it back.

I could'nt hear receiver sound and receiver could'nt hear my sound.. Sometimes and when i do my phone switch off and open then problem solve.... Please tell me whats problem.

Go to settings, then to lock screen n turn the prevent pocjet dial optiin off. Then u wil not hv to press power button to reject calls.
