im using mi 4i phone since 1 year and suddenly by phone was switch off and not reboot/re-start.
now, i dont not what to do because the warranty period is over and service centre will charge alot for this.

Guys, if you need your redmi 2 to be lollipop then, go to the MIUI official website and select your device and download it and reboot . You will see after updating your device will be lollipop and voLTE will also support . Thanks, enjoy.

Guys,if u want to update your redmi2 then update to redmi2 prime lolipop rom .Only you need to do is copy rom in sd card ,flah rom manually and perform a hardreset.if you dont do hard reset your divice Will not work properly.so it is necessary to do hardreset.i already updated my device.cool.

i bought xiaomi note 3 three month ago.
in a month it get dead .
i sent it to service center for repairing.
since last 1 month they just tell me we will give u update about your phone but they are not sending any update .i'm fully feadup of all this.
so plzzz i request u dont buy this company cell phone.
they are making you fool .

Post my Apple era for over 3 years, i only found this phone as a really good over all performer.
I haven't had to reset the phone for almost a year since i got it.
No issues what so ever. I am not a gamer or a hard user may be it helped.
For the cost its a really a good device.

Hi, i am using XIOMI Red Mi2 from last year. Before 3 months, my mobile got over heated and i removed the battery immediately. Again when i tried to keep the battery in, again heating starts. So i went to the nearest service center in tirupati(mobile care), They did the service well but from that time, the mobile is unable to connect wifi, shareit, bluetooth and now Jio sim is also not detecting in this mobile. Kindly give me the right suggestion for this problem.

Sandeep, 31 Oct 2016how to downgrade the MIUI 8.0.2.0 version of redmi2 plz sug... moreGo to MIUI site ..download lower version for the selected model...boot in recovery mode and install...do not forget to wipe cashe..wipe sd card...wipe all user data...after update. Reboot and enjoy. Only redmi phones support downgrading with ease...

AnonD-594228, 06 Oct 2016what message from ij62 to meHello friends, install only official Roms or do OTA update, otherwise your phone will be hang, heat up and even dead. Be aware of firmwares. Fimwares only controls your phones hardware and battery. I did OTA update , my redmi 2 is working perfectly. If u wanna do manual update then visit miui forum and download the officially released ROM for particular Model. Do not install other models firmwares in Redmi 2. Because hardwares are different for dofferent models Thank u... Think befor u do... Enjoy new MIUI...
