Dk, 18 Sep 2016It's same problem here too.when I insert my jio sim in slot... moreits working in Redmi2 prime.
Try putting it in SIM2 SLot
Then switch on.
Dial *#*#4636#*#*
it will show - Phone Info-1 & Phone Info-2
First go to Phone-Info1 - Then choose " set Preferred network" to GSM only
Then come back
& go to Phone Info-2
then choose "set preffered network" as LTE/GSM(PRL)
Then come out..restart your phone -1-2 times...then network ll come automatically

They replied me that redmi2prime dose not support jio SIM. But the reality is its working in my SIM slot 1. But the problem is when i am out jio coverage area and try to use data connection of otheer SIM by swaping data connection to SIM 2, the phone loses both the network as if aeroplane mode. Notification area says "no sim"

This is worst phone that I purchased in my life. Because it hanged up 3 to 4 times in a day. It automatically switched off. It also damaged phone's system operating. I am totally upset due to this phone. Please help me to cure this photo.

I am amazed as how some people complain of Xiomi just because they are unable to utilise the functionalities available on phone. I tell you friends thus is a master piece in its price. Now I put here one case where one guy is threatening to call on consumer forum as jio sim not working on phone. The simple act of rebooting , waiting or searching mobile network can resolve the problem. Dont forget to tweak prefferd network as LTE. Any other queation, raise here I or any other guy would surely come up with any solutions .

anyone getting multi touch problem on MIUI 8, I'm getting 2 point multi touch on MIUI 8 ROM but when I roll back to 7.5 it's back with 10 points......

Xiaomi has a very bad after sales servicing.. wont recommend it to any one . My phone is still in the service center and its been more than a month.

Worst phone ever. Xiaomi is a fraud company. My phone stopped working in few days and as my father was using it so he dint notice that camera din't work. When i visited them after 10 days it was not working and when take to service centre, They proudly say that we know about this problem but we are not provided with the spare parts (MotherBoard). Its been 4 months and i have not used it even a single day. and from last 1 month its with service team and they are saying it may take 3-4 months more.
