finally rooted my redmi 2 prime and removed some bloatware also added holo launcher as i like to have an app drawer.using dual sim cards airtel and vodaphone mumbai both on 3g.
battery life is now approx 1 1/2 day from 100% to 2 % with wifi on for 6 hrs and otherwise on mobile data.

May b there wil b absense of game data tats y ts happening.. So u shud download d game frm playstore instead of sharing frm frnds mobile....

I cant play clash of clans game on my redmi prime 2...when i open the game it shows downloading and then restarts the game automatically again and again and showing the same result.please some one give me solution please...

surender, 01 Feb 2016i have face this problam one time.check your battery uses i... moreit's because of some new apps u installed that refreshes gallery, music. so check with the apps u currently installed, like some other gallery, music apps. just uninstall and reboot .

narenda, 24 Jan 2016i bought redmi prime 10 days. i charged bettery 100% at nig... morei have face this problam one time.check your battery uses in setting .it will show you where your battery is consuming .....
in my phone media surver consuming my battery and making my phone hot. a video file in my mobile i newly have deleted and problam solved. when phone get hot without using it mean somthing is running in background .seach it stop it.

Don`t buy this piece of crap its battery drains too fast...... Battery reduced 100% to 54% in four hour in aeroplane mode without any use.. .... . If you are eager to buy this mobile then don't buy it from its official site www.mi.com.... Go for Amazon flipkart snapdeal or any other... Because you can claim there for refund..... I bought it from mi.com... . After getting replacement this one is also crap... This time xiaomi refused to replacement or refund... This time it says I shall have to go to its service center.... Wow!!! .... If you want getting headache or mentally frustration after paying your hard earned money... . Then you are welcome go and buy it... should I go to consumer Forum please suggest guys.... .

this phone is very good in budget phone under 10,000 . but only nd only problem in this phone is heating (only in starting period 1 month) and its battery . The battery drains automatically , even u does not use the phone a single time .

d, 29 Jan 2016Red mi only supports LTE not VoLTE. RJIL sim requires voLTE. I too faced this issue, I just changed my SIM card.
