I just returned Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime due to software issues. No ringing on incoming calls. If I reboot, it will work for sometime. After that again, no ringing. Also, cannot import contacts from the memory or from gmail, the infamous "android.process.acore has stopped" error is shown even with truephone app, same error. Also, some heating observed but, a non-issue. It seems, I will go for Lenovo A7000 or 6000Plus for peace of mind. I know....This is a software issue most probably, but have no time to fix it .

Xiaomi has officially listed Dragon trail glass screen protection. Which is thin but strongly scratched resistance.
Very bad, GSMARENA not yet officially recognised it.

It just can't go down the drain... So only it is better to go with Samsung, Sony, LG or apple! They offer better support. At least some one is there to help... Cheap Chinese brands pay the Indian You tubers and get positive reviews from them to sell their stuff on poor people.. Only when issues rise like in your case, we know their true color. No wonder these you tubers ask to buy these phones thru links in their show notes saying " it does help the channel " .Just proves that these you tubers lie to get money.

Using it from last month.
Good performance of the phone.
Camera quality is not that good. Rear is ok ok type but front camera quality is totally poor..
anyway happy with the phone as its price under 7k :)

So much Heating issue.. But update it to rom 5.10 problem solved.. Butter smooth after that.. Fon is too good in 7k.. Camera and sound quality is outstanding.. Go for it.. Its worth the price
