The phone was surprisingly good with MIUI8 installed. Swift and the battery wasn't half-bad, either. After updating to MIUI9, however, I became so disgusted with my resulting battery life that I had to flash a custom ROM on it. MIUI10 also isn't exactly worth it if you've rooted the device like me. But overall a very solid budget phone.

Update 10 destroys the phone. 8 was much better. Themes only in Hong Kong.

It's been more than a one and half year it is working perfectly fine and after MIUI 10 update it it seems that it becomes more faster than earlier. I am using 16/2 GB version which is really a good budget smartphone in only 99$. Apart from this.. for PUBG lover it's also a great choice in this price range.

After updating to Miui10 there some Mobile data network issues, Downloading is too slow and Playing online games has bigger pings how to solve this?

It is one of the best phones you can get in its price - Fast, durable and beautifull.
I decided to.write this review after I accidentaly droped it in the toilet. It startrd reatartding, like a boot loop, but I menaged to remove backcase and battery in less than 5 minutes. dried it for 2 days, cleaned it and now guess what, I am writiing this from the phone.

Pjer, 23 Nov 2018I can see that you did not use redmi 3s prime. Redmi 4x is ... morewhat a joke XD , the 3s prime specs just nearly below 4X, because it is still use snapdragon 430.
