Bought one for my son as his first smartphone. An absolute steal for the price. Fast enough, plenty of storage, decent screen and camera. The user interface is quite different to stock Android but you get used to it. It's hard to find fault for £100 brand new.

I have been using Xiaomi Redmi 4X, 4gb, 32gb and this phone is awesome. I dont have problem with hanging or lagging. Battery is good and can stand for more than 3 hours...I am using global but fast charging charger. I bought since 2015...now 2019 still using, not heavy user, sometimes use for gaming and whatsapp, FB...I also use OPPO find 7 and OPPO A3s and all are good phones. OPPO find 7 i buy since 2014 until now, i use 32GB sd card on all phones....

using redmi 4X since launch (almost 2 years)....
no QuickCharge 3.0
no 5Ghz wifi
issues with ipv6
no galileo gps support
no VoWifi
no exfat support
no upgrade to oreo or pie

You need a lot of light, precise focusing and a lot of luck to get a detailed picture. CURRENTLY I have three Nexus 5, one Nexus 5X, one Pixel, one Lenovo Vibe Shot, one BQ Auaris X5 Plus, one Motorola Moto E5. I have SONY A7 and I do a lot of photography for 13 years. So, please, don't tell me I'm wrong!

Redmi4 is very good phone including with its performance ,battery backup n average camera . And it is also good value for money.

If u update miui 10 global.n battery face or leging Thn just u go

Thn select developer (if u have global version official)
Thn goto to ur mobile setting thn about thn system update thn see 3 dots ur right had thn select chose update package now search ur developer rom. Thn verify ur rom ( must u have ) wifi or internet after some rom will b update hole process taken 20 min u have must b 90 % battery. Some problems i have face msg repl box .dailer box .n option on off button different.
Battery give 9.miui timing // miui best timing ever.
Volume up.
N i find out more option or lagging.

bharath, 01 Jan 2019if anyone using 2GB RAM MODEL ON miui9 plz don't update to ... moreyes you're right. I think MIUI10 on redmi 4x not optimized for 2GB model. I've tried it and feel a bit laggy. Then I install custom ROM lineage os and get better. So if you have 2gb version just stay at the latest MIUI9 or unlock your bootloader to install twrp and custom rom. But, do it at your own risk.

Even LG is worse on Android 7 than on Android 6. I was silly that I also worsened Xiaomi. I now have two bad phones.
Android 6 was much faster. Both phones Xiaomi and LG.
