When I connect the phone to a Windows PC (Win 7 or Win 10), it charges but I cannot access the files on the phone using Windows Explorer. In fact, Windows does not even recognise that I plugged in a USB device. Is it suppose to be like this? With my previous Samsung phones, I could access the files (read & write) on the phone.

I had the same yellow spot on my Mi4 (the cancro version) and after removing the tempered glass in a few days/weeks it disappeared. Very weird! I'm still using the phone, without the tempered glass and it Crystal clear.
FYI: the tempered glass was Nillkin 9H...

Totally worth it... but there are some cons:
- MIUI has terrible RAM management
- I hate the steps required to unlock bootloader... need to wait for 72 hours after confirmation SMS received in order to unlock bootloader.

Very good phone, definitely worth the money, but rear camera not great indoors.
Other than that, very happy with the phone.

I had to replace mine after 3 months. Yellow spot appeared in top left corner. Did anyone else have this problem? Retailer suggested that is because i squashed it, but I can't recall doing that. They gave me the new one. In every other aspect, it really, really good phone. Can't complain about anything.

I also use it for jogging, and the phone tracks everything really, really good. Much better than my previous LG Spirit.

the device is awesome for the price.the rear camera is brilliant in day light,also the hdr mode.battery is also superb.but the only problem i found that you cannot play games more than 10minutes it will become superhot

After use of 3 months :
Camera is good in low light
Camera is FABULOUS in day & good lighting conditions
Battery backup is about 1.5 day with net surfing
Same is about 3-4 days with least or no use of net
Body is looking rich but slippery
Front camera is good in low light, awesome in day light
Overall worth the price. Happy to have Redmi 4

Best phone in this price speaker is also fine not like it's previous version speaker is placed in bottom sound quality is good but all fine. Little bit . Not so .. first time when we start finger prints sensor not work so fast after 2nd time it is fast over all performance is good . Look is awesome . Notification light is only one colour white

Front camera is 5mp..nowadays u can get 20mp for front camera but the price will be quite expensive.. To me..d camera is worth d price.. If u want d best camera, u might go for other model. But the price is surely high
