Just bought this smartphone (3GB RAM, 32GB internal) two days ago, and to my suprise, its very good, no lags, no stutter, no instant stuck when i open multiple apps at the same time, the screen is also clear (i use half brightness), and the sound from the speakers are very clear, battery life is superb, i can get around 1 full day of heavy usage and still having atleast 30% of juice before charging it back again, the camera could be better, when zooming out, the picture does look abit pixelated, but close up shots was suprisingly pretty good, considering its pricepoint, but the lack of fast charging and only usb 2.0 does make it lack behind a bit from other smartphone, but its something to be forgiven because of its price to performance, redmi note 4 is pretty good,but the price is not justified here in Malaysia, with couple of hundreds more expensive than the redmi 4x, i'll choose the 4x anytime, thumbs up for this smartphone

This phone is launched as redmi 4 in india. Is xiaomi fooling indians and selling 4x in the name of 4? I guess the design of redmi 4 chinese version is far better than this one.

Xiaomi has released MIUI global stable 8.2.9.0 as nightly update, pushed to random users, couple of days ago. If everything is going Ok, in a few days, this ROM will be released to all users.

Xiaomi has launched MIUI global stable 8.2.9.0 as nightly update, pushed to random users, couple of days ago. After few days of testing, if no big issue detected, it will be released to all users.

Those complaining about this phone definitely didn't do any research before buying, it's indeed a very good phone, but Xiaomi hasn't released an official global rom for it, you can confirm from miui forum , whatever you have installed on your phone is not official, it is vendor or fake rom, by the time Xioami releases the official rom, most of those bugs will b fixed.
