Xiaomi has released MIUI global stable 8.2.9.0 as nightly update, pushed to random users, couple of days ago. If everything is going Ok, in a few days, this ROM will be released to all users.

Xiaomi has launched MIUI global stable 8.2.9.0 as nightly update, pushed to random users, couple of days ago. After few days of testing, if no big issue detected, it will be released to all users.

Those complaining about this phone definitely didn't do any research before buying, it's indeed a very good phone, but Xiaomi hasn't released an official global rom for it, you can confirm from miui forum , whatever you have installed on your phone is not official, it is vendor or fake rom, by the time Xioami releases the official rom, most of those bugs will b fixed.

Xiaomi indicates 3 hours to fully charge

The only dow... moreIt has quick charging.. You only need 2.5 hours to charge 4100mAh battery.
Other phone without quick charging need 3 hours to charge 2000 mAh battery (xiaomi redmi 1s).
I have 15 hours of usage and 6 hours screen time using this phone and still have 50% battery left. Only need 1 hour+ to charge from 50 to 100%.
