This phone costs 160 euros and people are complaining? This is close to the Samsung S8 and the S8 costs over 700 euros.

I'm having problems with my mic, when it is in a loud environment, the recording gets distorted, it happens in either video or recorder, does someone know a solution to my problem?

Budget phones with manual ... moreYou must have purchased a different phone, I have the Redmi 5 plus and there is no lag,I get 8-10 hours screen on time, most I've gotten so far is 11 SOT 2days use and 6% battery. Camera does have manual mode, front camera is not the best but does the job. Use the phone before bashing please

Camera is pretty decent, but to get better results, you should set "sharpness" to "higher" in options and leave HDR mode turned on. Front camera is not good, but does the job.
Battery is not perfect for the size, with online radio streams it drains quite fast. But there seems to be no background draining problems. In standby it drains 1% per 1.5-2h.
MIUI version is 9.2.3.0. There is an OTA upgrade, but i see a lot of complains of bricking the phone so i'm planning on staying with 9.2.3.0 for now as there seems to be no issues with it so far.

Budget phones with manual mode options in camera.
Works fine with no lag.
I used 6x for 1 year.
I just bought redmi 5 plus and regreting on my decision.
Bigger screen with low ram. Lags too much. Battery drain fast. Bloatwares. Heating issues. Slow charging takes about 3 hours or more. No manual mode in camera. No interesting features in camera. Undeleteable and non disable bloatwares.
Simply, its nothing infront of huawei x series budget phones.

Still missing my redmi note 1, the very first Xiaomi note series model. I purchased it in earlier November 2014. I admit for daily driver, it was still fits. 2 times changing battery. Only the radio signal for network access decreased because fall many times. Untill i lost it 1 month ago. Hence, we shouldn't underestimate mi phones as long as its an original one. Redmi note 5(5plus) is a worthy upgrade for me. I really satisfied for my new redmi device, thanks Xiaomi.

Indian, 21 Feb 2018My Galaxy J7 2016 3300mAh Battery Give Me 12-14Hrs SOT........ moreOn redmi note 5, when fully charged i got 13 to 16 hours on screen time with heavy usage. Meanwhile with moderate usage ,i got almost 2 days on screen time. For this price range it is absolutely amazing.
