Parku, 29 Nov 2019Screen became translucent out of the blue after just a year... moreDo you mean "screen retention"? that's a hardware issue. You need a new screen. I've had this issue. But it isn't that noticable like burn in on AMOLED screens. But it will get worse overtime. So you'll have to replace your screen if you don't want so see image retention.

been using this phone for a year and 6 months and still working perfectly but after i installed miui 11 update, my phone is still on android oreo. disappointed by the way

after the MIUI 11 update, the performance of the phone is slow, the touchscreen is not responsive, it often hangs🤔

This is a very good phone compared to its price.
Good performance, nice design, good battery (although heats during heavy usage or during charging), mediocre screen and a bad to a very bad fingerprint sensor.

Screen became translucent out of the blue after just a year of usage. I'm not sure what caused it. But a year of usage seems soo early for such a problem. Restored the phone but problem persisted. It's something Xiaomi needs to look at. Have seen other complaints with the screen too

Great features.
It bent just by being used. At the sixth month it was lightly curved. Treated with extra care after that. The glass finally broke five months later, where the phone had its weakest point.
So, it lasted 11 months before breaking. In comparison I also have a Nokia 6 26 months old and still working fine.
