No way Xiaomi will kill the cash cow.
Most probably Redmi Note 5 will reserved as 2018 model since Redmi Note 4 is launch in January 2017.
I wonder how would these jokers react when there see Redmi Note 5 launch with dual camera lense next month.

The actual Redmi Note 5X has dual camera lense & either Snapdragon 626 or 630, China version will have Mediatek chips.

I am now torn between this R5plus and mi A1. Cam photos on A1 is better and lively. On the other hand, R5plus 18:9 design is nice and trendy. But I only have to choose one, which one to get? Any idea? Your concern is highly appreciated.

Haven't you heard, read what Xiaomi announced few days ago? There is no morr Redmi note 5, becausr they changed name to plus. So don't expect redmi note phones anymore! You can check it all about it at official Xiaomi or miui pages. I am disappointed too with this 2 " new" models. All we can do is to wait Mi 7 with 845. This one will be total killer💪

It seems just smaller, lighter and cheaper variant of Xiami Mi Max 2.

disappointed with the sd625 processor , i had expected SD630. looks like RN5 is scrapped or delayed due to the arrival of SD636. at least expecting an official word from xiaomi regarding RN5 .. so it would be easier for me to make a decision ie wait or buy another one. if not RN5 then release mi note 3 in india .

This is Redmi note 4 in 18:9 aspect ratio but why did you downgraded the battery from 4100mAh to 4000mAh, the camera that already wasn't great from 2.0 aparture to 2.2 aperture and also downgraded the audio quality to no 24-bit/192kHz? You should have upgraded the specs and raise the price a bit. We always want upgrade. When you downgrade the price would also have to go down.

1 version with 5.5 inch & name it RN5
& the other version with 5.7 to 6 inch & name it RN5 PLUS
JUST LIKE REDMI 5 & REDMI 5 PLUS
KEEP 5.5 INCH, because 5.7 to 6 inch its too big to wotk with it with one hand
