710 is an expensive chip for redmi line at the moment, even the note 7 isn't even a 710, most likely still a 636,

from TEENA page, it'll be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor. my guess would be SD636 that's been everywhere in xiaomi's midrange offerings nowadays. don't think they'll put a SD450, and 710 is a 2.2GHz. i believe xiaomi wouldn't advertise it with lowered clock rate.

I think this phone will be the xiaomi mi a3 with android one for occidental market. The screen size, ppi density and screen resolution will be improve a lot. And the 3gb/32gb version won't exist. And the camera will be improve too.

Anyone hear anything about Redmi 7? Redmi Note 7 is already on the market, they both suppose to appear at the same time, but I don't see any info about Redmi 7 :-(

The chipset is unlikely to be SD710, since the cost of SD710 is double that of 660.
It's more likely Helio P35(used in Mi Play and Honor 8A) or SD632(Honor 8C and Meizu Note 8) or SD636
