Should I update Redmi 9 3/32 to MIUI 11.0.7.0? Will their be any problems? Has any had any complaints after the update?

I got my purple today.. i will use this as extra phones besides my samsung s10+. But inital impressions so far it looks nice, i like the grippy back cover even without case it doesnt feel slippery... for this price range the value is hard to beat.. screen looks ok u cant really say its a bad screen for the price compared to more expensive phones its ok, dont know about sunlight outside i dont plan use it outside that much...... for me value big battery ,ir blaster, decent performance for everyday tasks.

But it also says it reaches 420nits if you turn on "Auto-Brightness" - which is quite good for outdoor visibility.
I've used a phone with 385nit brightness & I never had any trouble reading or typing in Sunlight.
Its colour accuracy is deltaE 4.5 with "Standard Contrast Setting", which is better than Realme 5 (deltaE 5.8) & some other popular phones in this price.
So its display is mostly good/better.

It has much better performance, camera and much more advance features like 1080p screen mirroring, IR Blaster, 64bit Gcam support, better display, faster charging and so on.

Realme 5i has:
Lower performance
Slower charging
720p display
Micro USB port
No IR Blaster
No 1080p screen mirroring
No on-screen FPS meter for games
Comes with Android 9, so less chance of Android 11 & further updates.
It's still a good budget phone if you want good video recording & play VR games.

Nokia 5.3 has higher brightness & better cameras, especially for video recording (4K).

If you want a better phone than this for gaming, look for:
- Snapdragon 675
- Snapdragon 710
- Snapdragon 712
- Helio G90T
- Snapdragon 720G
- Kirin 810
If you play VR games, then remember it doesn't have real Gyro sensor so you can't play most VR games on it.
