Anonymous, 24 Aug 2020everybody is complaining about its low brightness, low color... moreThis phone is excellent!
Don't misunderstand me, Redmi 9 has more & better features than any phone in its price & higher. The camera comparison I gave was against Realme 5i, that's why it looked bad.

                                      1. Camera:
                                      - Realme C3 back camera is 12MP with f/1.8 & 1/2.8 apertures.
Its apertures make it capable of capturing more details than Redmi 9, even though R9 has 13MP back camera.

                                      - Redmi 9 selfie camera is 8MP with f/2 apertures.
This makes it capable of capturing much better details & clearer selfies than Realme C3, which has only 5MP with f/2.4, 1/5 apertures (very bad apertures too).

That was only the spec comparison. In reality, both Realme C3 & Redmi 9 have poor camera quality from their "Stock Camera". It's not even worth comparing them no matter what comparisons people make.

BUT both phones support Gcam, which improves camera quality A LOT! Gcam usually gives better quality in the phone with "Spec Advantage".

In this case, Redmi 9 has a good advantage as its selfie camera specs are much better than Realme C3 & its back camera specs are enough to get good quality pictures from Gcam (back camera specs aren't much lower than C3 to begin with).

                                      2. Visibility:
You won't have any problem with its visibility while you're sitting in car, standing in shade or at evening.
It's also one of the best phones to use at night/bedtime in this price, due to very low 1.4nit brightness.

For visibility under Sunlight, its default max brightness is definitely low, but you can improved it by:

                                      (i) Turn on Auto Brightness. It'll increase its brightness to 428nits (higher or similar to Realme C3).
(ii) Turn on High Contrast Text &/or Increased Contrast (C3 doesn't have this feature).

This will makes its visibility at least close to or better than Realme C3. Also, 450nits brightness of C3 is only advertisement, we don't know its real brightness nits which is always lower.

                                      3. Colour Accuracy:
Redmi 9 has 3 Contrast Settings, each has its advantage & disadvantage with colours.

                                      (i) Standard Contrast is recommended for better colour accuracy, while suppressing blue tint.
(ii) Warm will also increase overall colour accuracy & suppress blue tint.
(iii) Default isn't recommended for accuracy, but it can help you spot enemies better in games.
(iv) Cool isn't needed, but it's up to you. Its advantage is same as Default & it gives blue tint to screen.

                                      Note:
Unlike Redmi 9, there is no info or lab-test for colour accuracy of Realme C3. So don't trust anyone that says C3 has better colour accuracy, unless they've used both phones & understand things like I do.

From my experience with Realme phones (I'm typing on it), they do have good colour accuracy but struggle a little with black levels/details in dark scenes.
Realme C3 display at best has similar or only slightly better colour accuracy than Redmi 9, but don't forget Redmi 9 display is FHD, which is definitely better for watching videos than C3 display.

                                      4. Here's what Redmi 9 offers that Realme C3 (& other higher priced phones) don't:

                                      (i) FHD Display with 395ppi (Other phones have HD with around 270ppi)
(ii) IR Blaster that lets you use it as remote control for TV, AC & other appliances.
(iii) Widevine L1. Mirrors Screen to TV at 1080p resolution. (Most phones in this price either don't have it, or only allow mirroring at 480p or 720p resolution - including C3).
(iv) 18watt charging (Others have 10W)
                                      (v) Type C charging port (Faster data transfer speed, Easier to connect & Connects to more gadgets than C3)
(vi) 5000mAh battery (Among biggest ones)
(vii) Helio G80 (Most powerful chipset in the price. RN9 beats Realme C3 in performance tests of AnTuTu and GeekBench).
(viii) Speaker is louder than even Redmi Note 9s (though sound quality is lower).
(ix) Wireless FM Radio (No earphones needed, unlike Realme C3)
                                      (x) NFC (Depending on where you live. C3 doesn't have it).
(xi) More based features & customisation.

                                      Note:
                                      - Someone in Realme C3 comments said Helio G80 doesn't support FHD display, which is completely false.
You can confirm on Mediatek official website that it supports FHD display.

                                      - He also said 720p screen will have advantage in gaming, which is only half true. You can play PUBG on 720p on this phone too, using PGT Pro (Best GFX Tool, gives 40-50FPS on Redmi 9).
For other games, you can lower their resolution in game settings or use an app to lower it.

You must do the required settings for your specific phone!

Finding best Gcam requires a lot of self-testing and a little bit knowledge about Gcam settings. So it's easier if you depend on someone else at first.
If you want to self-test, go to "Celsoazevedo" website. It has almost all Gcam ports.

Here's a Gcam I found by quick Google search:

                                        5. Open Gcam & double tap on empty black space around selfie, capture, gallery icon.
                                        6. Select config/xml file & Restore.
