Gorilla glass v3 instead of 5? Mediatek heating processor. Water drop display instead of Punch hole? Only display is being improved. Not a good deal.

Superb! the redmi 9 brings everything one expects from a budget phone. The Mediatek helio G80 is as powerful.

Instead of a punchole, 48MP and slight difference in performance Redmi note 9 and redmi 9 are exactly the same. They both have same cameras(aperture but lets see how the results are),battery,charger,display and chipset. Only difference between the g85 and g80 is that g85 has higher gpu frequency. A considerable upgrade from 665 and 439 from last gen. Only downgrade was that the rn8 can record 4k and rn8 and r8 had better gorilla glass protection. They should have kept a major difference between the rn9 and r9 bcz but then again what they did was very competitive and great performance to price ratio.

They went with waterdrop notch with redmi 9 because note 9S has screen bleeding issues due to bad punch-hole camera implementation

Anonymous, 09 Jun 2020K30Copy of Redmi Note 8 Pro, and reason for that, first leaked image of this Redmi 9 (in purpule), was online somewhere in nov or dec of 2019, even before K30. But yes, K30 back camera design is also similar to Note 8 Pro.
Anyway, MediaTek, after Redmi 7 and Qualcomm, after, Redmi 8 (downgraded SoC, but still) Qualcomm, Redmi 9 no thanks. You can clearly see on Youtube videos for Redmi Note 9 (with G85), that those phones, does not have fast chargfing at all (even with 22.5w charger from the box), just because od MediaTek old tehnology :/

Redmi K30 Pro with SD865 have 4700mah (flagship device)
so xiaomi must bring this low-end midrange at least with 6000mah
Mi Max 3 was with 5500mah
M21, M30s, M31 with 159mm tall...they have 6000mah
